Did you order unlocked? I didn't even see T Mobile as an option on the App unless I was buying an unlocked phone.

I'm just about done with the CSR who verified my 64gb Rose Gold 6s. $99 + tax, billed when it ships. Arrive on launch day.

*fingers crossed*
yes Ordered unlock, then Tmobile appears. No EIP option unfortunately. I have a 9/25 delivery date so I may Cancel my Tmobile order since I dont have jump in case they try to let Jump Upgraders skip me in line.

Was on hold for 33 minutes before getting a representative...
Stayed on the line with the rep for a few awkwardly quiet minutes and he had to transfer me to someone else 'to finish my order'...
So I'm on hold again.. annoying.

Got my preorder done. Couldn't get to do it through the T-mobile site so called Customer Service and ordered with jump. When I get the new phone, I would have to drop the old one off in a T-mobile store.

Decided to call in early 1:45 CST and was off the phone by 2:05 with my order placed 64g rose gold. Extremely smooth process

Ah, I see. I was thinking "What kinda magic did they work on that App?!" LOL!

And yeah you definitely want to cancel your T-Mobile order if that's your reasoning. Everything I've read said the Jump customers get pushed to the front of the line.

Well, that was half painless and half painful. Painless in that I called at 2:58 am EDT and got through to a live person at 3:04 am. The painful part was how long it took her to input my order in spite of me having every bit of information ready for her. For me to order two iPhones and do two trade-ins, it took exactly 31 minutes on the phone. She was mega-slow and seemed mostly clueless. At that kind of speed, it's going to be a long wait tonight for those still on hold.

Anyway, my order is on and I'm good to go! I ordered a 128 GB 6s+ Space Grey and a 64 GB 6s Silver. And she threw in Expedited Shipping for free. Sweet! Now comes the long wait and wondering just when they'll actually arrive.

It's been a fun night, but time for some sleep! It's getting close to 4 am and I have to get up in 3 hours. Cheers everyone!

I called at 11:57 and got answered at 12:01. Took about 15min to process the JOD upgrade - got an order number at 12:16 (not via email). Lease contract to be emailed to me by Tuesday for me to sign and return. $6.99 for shipping.

From the sounds of the call center, it was absolutely chaotic in the background - managers screaming orders, reps furiously typing away...this is a popular one!

While JOD was processing I also ordered a fully unlocked device from apple from their app with 9-25 delivery. I'll probably sell it.

Pretty painless - the fastest I've ever pre-ordered an iPhone.

Called two minutes before 12:01. Got someone in two rings, clock ticked past 12:01, and we started the preorder. After she finished checking everything on her end, confirmed the phone, account info etc, she started to ask for my CC number. Literally a minute from being done, and she asked for my CC number, and the F'in call dropped! (Arggggg, TMOBILE!!!!) Of course, she didn't call me back. So, now have been on hold for the last 20+ minutes...

Well at least their playing Blind Melon. I can groove to this hold music lol

Will the Unlocked T-Mobile phone working on AT&T? Is it the same exact phone? I read somewhere that it will work but it's not the same exact phone and LTE will be faster in the future on the AT&T phone. Is that true?

OK things i learned from 1 chat and 2 phone reps:

They CAN do JoD ordering on the phone. Chat rep said they could and 2nd phone rep actually placed the order for me that way. First rep was kinda clueless and said no they couldn't do either jump or jod on the phone- she's wrong. April was my amazing 2nd phone rep. She was able to do a jump order. cancel it then place it in the JoD as I wanted.

They are ALL back ordered in every model/size/colour right now so I guess its because no one has any inventory technically yet and its not 'released' she said dont worry.

Every one gets free next day shipping and she said shipped on the 24th and I'd get it the 25th.

--- Important
Make alerts on your bank/cards so when you're charged over a threshold you will get a text or email. That way you know you got charged and should expect your phone soon there after. You won't get charged till they physically have your phone and its in process to you

Sign up for UPS account for free, and set an alert for your address.. that way when any label is created for your address you get an email too. So you can see if/when you get one from them.
I'm envious of your rep. She sounds like the perfect rep. Mine was very kind, but talked like she's recovering from a food coma, which made me anxious since everything was taking so long...then again, if your rep was correct, then I'm a happy camper!

I had an interesting experience. I called at 3:01 EDT and got right through. No hold at all. I got a really friendly rep named "Joe". He processed both orders for myself and my wife both as JOD replacements. The process was straight forward and easy. We both got 64GB 6s Plus devices and I asked about the extra $100 charge and he said that it would get charged to my account when the devices ship. He said both phones were all set and we were good to go and we hung up. About 10 minutes later I received a call back from the rep. He said he was wrong and that he needed a Credit Card on file to process the order, so I gave him one. I think it's strange because how did the system let him order it without the credit card? I'm guessing I either got knocked to the end of the line or my order is completely screwed up now. No idea what will happen. He gave me my order number, but when I try to look it up on the order status page online it tells me that it isn't a valid order number. We'll see.

yea, I know Apple will get the job done with delivering my phone, but I`m just going to wait until I get confirmation and shipping details lol. I was thinking of maybe selling the extra phone, but IDK how many people will be willing to pay what I`d ask for it, and it seems like it would be a headache.

Here is my experience FWIW:

Current AT&T customer with 6 phones (wife, 3 kids and a mother-in-law).

Went to T-Mobile store today, and got dummy SIM cards with temp numbers so we'd have an account to order Jump On Demand phones with.

Called at 1:59 AM CST, was on-hold for about 10 minutes.

Rep was great, but her computer system was being very slow, and she had to take payments separately for each phone (ordered 4, the other 2 on my account are keeping older phones for now)

Was done at 2:45 AM so it took a while. But there were no big issues, just kinda slow.

Here is what we got:

128GB Plus Space Grey (me)
64GB Plus Gold (wife)
64GB Gold (21 yo child paying for it herself)
64GB Space Grey (17 yo child paying down payment herself)
