FYI I just chatted with T-Mobile and you can cancel your order or return / deny your order and no harm. It's not an actual contract we are signing, just an agreement.
Sweet, that's good to know. Probably going to the store on launch day and purchase then.

Status: Ready to ship by 9/24/2015

Status: Waiting for delivery confirmation from Apple on this device. We expect to have a shipping estimate for your order by 9/20

I have these two statuses on two phones. not sure why they are seen as separate? Two things concern me (jesus tmobile has complicated preordering):
1. Ready to ship by 9/24? Are they not going to arrive at 9/25? What is going on, they receiving the phones from apple, and turning around to ship them to us?
2. on that 9/20 one... I ordered saturday, have a very low "S" number, and still cannot get a basic 6s+ on time? Did Tmobile play favorites again? ugh.

1. I'm guessing that's how all operators work?
I would guess they're all shipped overnight? In the past I don't believe there was a difference in how carriers handled it and apple, correct me if I'm wrong

2. Right now we are only receiving generic status "updates". I think every single person ordering an iPhone received the same message, not depending on the order number but on he iPhone you ordered (some are in more demand than others as you can guess).

I'm guessing they're just taking it easy, and will only provide another update when they actually get the quantities from Apple?

For my own curiosity, what do you mean by "very low "S" number"?

heh Im just venting. AT&T was solid. you ordered right off of the website, got an email as to your estimated ship date, and it all went smoothly. First come first serve. This is my first tmobile road show and Im not used to how chaotic they run things.

oh I don't have access to it at the moment but my S numbers for both 6S and 6S+ orders fell well into the 'first wave' based on tmobile guestimates. they are like order #s. I think a binning happens later though, based on their weird as hell jump rules as far as phone allocations go.

On another forum someone had posted this picture: image.png

Pretty much all of T-Mobile's plus models are delayed. Sorry to hear that.

Mine was s00607###, in case you wanted to compare.

Edit: Oh I see you have a 6s on the way, but it is Rose Gold. It's going to work out:)

I'm just so tired of the back and forth and up and down with them. There's lots I appreciate about T-Mobile, but THIS is a mess.

I ordered 3 phones and none of them are 6s+ or rose gold but I still get the 9/20 message. All of the phone models I am showing say ships by 9/25 per T-mobiles shipping estimate chart. Crossing my fingers that the 9/20 update shows that all 3 will ship on 9/24.

Item: Apple iPhone 6s - Space Gray - 16GB
Status: Ready to ship by 9/24/2015 BUT order will NOT ship until all items are available.

Item: Apple iPhone 6s - Space Gray - 128GB

And why are you irritated? For all you know, on 9/20 you might find out that your iPhone will be delivered a week later. Or maybe it will be delayed a little longer. At any rate, we're finally getting updates from T-Mobile and that is a reason to be happy, not irritated.

Exactly - don't be irritated. T-Mobile is being very good to their customers. For example, all Jump / Jump on Demand customers get priority over other orders, free overnight delivery, actually updating their order status w/o making anything up. On 9/20 I'm sure they'll give us an up-front answer on shipping details.

If you want the most popular device in the world this is what it is, sorry. Look at the bright side it didn't say sorry we couldn't find your order. I could say don't let it bother you be thankful you could have a lot bigger issues than not getting your phone on launch day.

who has claimed to have been charged or had a label created? im pretty sure neither of those things happen untill the day before it actually ships

Scroll back a few pages 1-2 people have stated they had a charge and someone posted their label. I know how it works so I even said are they "SURE" they're getting a 6s and that isnt just a 6 that tmo ****ed up on.... sooooo *shrug*

Last year people got charged like within 24 hrs they got a label and 24 hrs later they got their phone..that's pretty much you're big indicators to go on..not sure why some people got charged/labels if it isn't for something else other than the 6 lol

I think they just don't know whether they'll get enough 6S Pluses to meet their orders, so they're waiting to see what the final delivery numbers from Apple will be. But weird that they don't know that at this late date.

Well I am thinking they will have an official number on the 20th or the 19th. Hoping since I ordered 40mins after the lines opened I'll get my + on launch day or a few days after. But I am also still nervous I don't have a S00 number... still my
224 number which does pull up the info everyone else is getting.

Last yeah, they didn't get the biggest shipments till like days before they were to go out. And then they didn't even tell carriers what was in each upcoming shipment. It's like they were just finishing batches and each one was a grab bag of possibly enough of a certain model or colour to fill the orders. Each time people would ask well is my phone in the next shipment they'd say they had no idea what was coming till they open it up in KY distribution centre. lol

You need your order number (S06xxxxxx or 224xxxx) and shipping Zip. I don't believe it works if it doesn't start with S.

I have a 10-digit number (no letters) and it works. I get the same information everyone else is getting for the 6s (ships on 9/24). I ordered via the Costco deal on Tuesday and got my order number by calling T-Mobile yesterday.
