Why create another pre-order thread of the same carrier if we have one already established? It will only create confusion among readers...
it is really hard to find information in the other thread, so I thought it would save time to readers if I summarized all information available regarding T-mobile preorders in one single post

This isn't accurate. This was a chart on their website of shipping estimates based on ordering that day, not if you ordered within the first 48 hours.

Yeah when I ordered mine the list said something along the lines of "limited supply" or something like that. and I ordered ASAP

then Tmobile's best information available as of now is ship on 09/24
I guess what I am trying to say is that at least people have their order show up in their system. This is the message I get:

"Orders are not visible in this tool until 24 – 72 hours after they are placed. Please check back tomorrow to view your order status."

I ordered Saturday morning, but I guess technically, it was Tuesday afternoon so I'm not freaking out about the message.

Are you checking via my.t-mobile or the explorer order status page

I have the "9/20 Email" for a 64 GB iPhone 6s Rose Gold and a 64 GB iPhone 6s+ Space Gray, and just got done chatting with a rep who said they wouldn't be able to provide order updates until 9/23 or around the launch.

Keep trying to refresh. sometimes that happens to me.

So Apple just sends them random phones? That's a weird way to do business like that. If you're a carrier and half your customers order silver, and Apple sends you mostly rose gold, then you're stuck. Seems like there should be people at both T-Mobile and Apple coordinating, with T-Mobile saying "these are the orders we've gotten" and Apple then saying "ok we can fill this many of these skus".

You are correct. The people that are saying that T-Mobile has no idea what they are receiving until they open the box are incorrect. Apple tells their resellers what they are sending them and they also commit to a certain amount of stock leading up to it as well.

I am trying to decide if the "we will update you on 9.20" message isn't a direct offshoot of them basically marking every order as "backordered" last year and freaking everyone out. I did end up getting my phone on launch day (a 6), but I do recall that after the botched online order last year, and calling and getting to a rep at like 5am, they marked orders a few days later as backordered and thats when the sh*t hit the fan and everyone freaked out.

So if the lesson last year was to avoid the dreaded backordered word, maybe they have improved a bit (in terms of order status and communication.)

My GUESS*** is whats going to happen is that all the 6s will prolly be at your doorstep either Thursday or Friday (next week) There will be some updates on the 20th (or so the site says) of 6s+ that will be there day 1 as well. I would ASSUME** that most of us with 6s+ will NOT get them by the 1st day unless you got your orders in early on Saturday. (maybe some SG and Gold that got ordered later that fit into the first wave) I would say if the Rose Gold orders prolly not. maybe not until early OCT? Thats what I am preparing myself for. Either way, hope we all get some GREAT news BY Sun the 20th.

Ahh I remember those days. Crazy.

BTW, just chatted on Twitter with a rep about changing from 128gb 6s+ Space Grey to a Gold version, because the T-Mobile site says those will ship 9/25 or something like it (instead of 2-4 weeks). He said stick with the original order, because people that ordered on the 12th are in good shape. (And my order doesn't say it was ordered on the 12th on the T-Mobile website, but I did order it then - therefore they ARE taking good notes on who ordered when.)

In summary:
Good news - T-Mobile DOES know when you ordered, and if you ordered on the 12th, you're looking good-ish.
Bad news - T-Mobile's current ship dates on their website are wrong at times.

So I ordered at about 3:30am The night of pre orders. long story short the order was canceled and the rep kept trying to put it through. IPhone 6S Plus Gold 18GB. It went through but cancelled 5 times. Sunday comes and I call because I haven't received my email EIP Agreement and confirmation but I did receive a email saying 'I still have my spot blah blah taking longer than usual blah). They re did my order and told me I didn't lose my spot and everything is ok now. My question is am I the only one who didn't have to pay taxes or anything?? I have a 64GB 6 Plus regular jump and I just upgraded to jump on demand with this 6S Preorder. The rep said the taxes and fees will be spread over time? and my order status says, They'll let me know on the 20th as well.

When I chatted with a rep Monday getting my docs signed, he said that their goal was for everyone who originally ordered on Sat. and Sun. to get their phones on launch day. He said they succeeded in doing that with the Galaxy S6 launch, and that's what they were aiming for this launch as well.

While I think that is their goal, I bet they are hamstrung based on how much stock of 6s+ Apple is allocating to them. So it might certainly be what they'd like to do, but it might be out of their control, which actually comforts me for some reason.

Lol I doubt they had this many orders. That'd be nice though.

With Jump on Demand the taxes are added to each payment instead of paid up front. So yes that sounds normal.

Now watch on the 20th when half the orders start saying backordered, and this thread will go from 70 pages to 300 in one day, lol.
