According to the website my store has nothing yet. And none do around the area either. If they don't get them launch day of gonna be so pissed

it appears the inventory is down so that everything will show as unavailable
 
Just called both of my local Verizon corporate stores. Both confirmed they already have 6 and 6 plus in stock, ready for sale at 8am in the morning.

So that's my plan. I'll try to get a 6 plus 64gb from them in the morning. I'd much rather get my pre-order from Target so I don't have to wait in line, but I don't want to risk not getting one. :(
 
Just talked to my local Target. They got one 6 Plus in. It was gold and for the only other preorder they had. He confirmed he had no other 6 Plus in today. He took down my info and said if any other AT&T 6 Plus came in it would be mine. A little sad but hoping for one tomorrow still.

I wonder if he got an email by now... Been hawk eyeing my email since this morning with no luck. Has anyone here gotten an email yet? I want to know if they're even going to send them out today, or if they will wait till tomorrow morning at opening to push them out.
 
Just called my target. He said "we should get them next week sometime..." hopefully he didn't know what the **** he was talking about.

No email yet. I have a feeling to prevent the masses harassing the stores to get their phone today if they indeed reserved it for them, they might send it around midnight tonight.
 
I also pre-ordered last Saturday for two 6 Plus models, both 64GB. When I asked the rep if he could "guarantee" that I'd get the phones on Friday, all he could say was I have a very good chance.

I was the only one who pre-ordered a AT&T 6 Plus Space Gray model, while there were a few who wanted the Silver White. Overall, he told me, there were only 6 other pre-orders ahead of us.

I'm hoping for the best, but will probably still line up somewhere if I don't get an email tonight.

I love Target as a retailer, so I'm crossing my fingers they'll pull through for me. Otherwise, I'll be in line elsewhere.
 
I would definitely keep an eye on the emails. I had to leave my number for the mobile guy to call me back but he did within about 15 minutes. I am hoping to be able to get one tomorrow without too much heartbreak.

Nflea, I'm skeptical the emails are generated upon inventory scan. The reason is yesterday, before the inventory system stopped updating, several store were reporting inventory of 6's and 6p's, yet no one reported getting any emails from Target. You'd think SOMEONE would have put it on this forum.

I checked yesterday and one of the phones I pre-ordered showed in stock at my local store yet I have not got an email. I called today and the mobile person said we don't know anything just wait for your email.

I like that they have store everywhere, but lately they are doing deceptive things. First, you'll notice they don't have all their choices of a given item in the same place. They sprinkle them around the store in different depts. And the cheapest choice of your item sometimes is in the checkout isle, trying to get you to spend more money. Another thing happened to me just the other day. I was buying a roll of 3M double stick foam tape. You know, the kind with the green & white liner. One was located in scrapbooking, a tiny roll for around $4.50. In hardware, I found the same size tape but twice as big a roll, for the same price! Women are paying more than men for tape, just like for clothes and shoes!

Yeah I'm wondering if e-mails are in fact sent out when inventory is scanned. Still waiting for the first person to report saying they received an e-mail...

This is what they are now saying. The mobile rep said I will know before he does because as soon as they are checked in the email is sent. They Still haven't gotten that second order =(
 
I got the same response just now, that it will "email us automatically when the phone arrives at the store". Still waiting...

Great, assuming this happens in normal business hours (no guarantee of that...) your call to the MTarget guy for an appointment will come as a complete surprise to him! Maybe there's a technical difference between "checked in" and showing in the store computer's inventory status.

I don't get why we have to call and make an appointment. If we get an email stating the phone has arrived, we should have 48 hrs to pick it up, then it'll be released for others to purchase. Why do we have to make an appointment?! Wouldn't the mobile department be barraged with phone calls, especially since usually it is only one person handling that area?

Doesn't make any sense to me.

I would think they dont want the aisles clogged with people waiting to pickup the phone at 8am or whenever they do open. The appointment thing makes sense. Id rather get there at a time that I designate than just a hoarde of people ahead of me and me sitting at Target for hours on end.
