I was talking with a friend who works at Target last night and he told me their iPhone shipments wouldn't be in until 5-6am, so it's possible they're still sifting through their shipment before sending emails out.

Noticed this doesn't work for me. Shows which ones are sold in stores but not what's in stock. All the models I checked say not in stock for store pick up anywhere within 50 miles.
I don't want to sound harsh or anything, but why the hell would you pre-order with a retail store? They're so far down the line when it comes to who's going to get shipments first.

Was #6 overall to pre order last week, but 1 for my specification on sprint. I've called all week and they have gotten plus in, just nothing bigger than 16 gig. I hit 436 best buy at 830, not a single plus available and no one in line. Went to apple at alt mall, at least 400 people in line.

I guess they made it seem so easy, they were the only retailer taking a pre order other than at midnight and locked in my 5 value ahead of time. So I bit and worked on a backup, but found none. I got kids and a job so camping is not an option.

Just going by what Target promised during the pre-order phase. Anyway, my Target got zero iPhone sixes in at all. In fact they got no new iPhones at all. It is a complete fail. As for retail, the RadioShack store right next door got all their pre-order phones in. Target was collecting pre-orders but never intended to even attempt to fulfill them on launch day. The hope was with their new provider, the system would work better than when the 5S came out. Two different mobile providers, one target chain. One can only conclude that target is the problem, not the subcontractor. So what is the problem with Target? Simple, they are a dishonest Lib company. Definitely will never trust them again for a phone launch.
I don't think so. And apple site only says, "check store on the 19". Doubt we see those for a while.
It's almost 7 am still no email I went by what the guy told me and his manager told him but as much I hoped they was right they are wrong at the moment.
Talked to manager who is confident they will still get shipments today and tomorrow for higher capacity gig models. He said their store will also now call us as well as email when the phone is in. I'm like.....IF it comes in.

Just got back from ATT store after camping. They said they had 20 but really had 10. And the MOTARD in front of me bought them all as his whole family came in last minute. Lets just say the police had to come because there was almost a riot.
I got in line at my Verizon store at 7:15 this morning. I was 10th in line. I walked out with their very last 6 Plus. Its gold and 16gb. I wanted gold and 64gb. The store manager said they only got 5 of the 6 Plus, and one of those were 64gb, the others were 16gb. Anyway, I settled...but I'm happy. I would have walked away if I wasn't able to get a 6 Plus. That was my deal breaker.

Same. Got in line at 7am at local Verizon, got the last 2 64gb iPhone 6+'s they had (grey and gold). Never got my target email either.
Just called my target and they said no 6 plus's came in for this shipment. They won't get a shipment till next week and it'll only be 6's. The 6 plus's won't ship till first week of October.

Here's an update from Northern California:
Got to my store at about 8AM. They ended up getting a total of almost 40 preorders (I saw the list). About 10 phones came in, all of them were ONLY 6's and in the 16GB capacity (Silver/Gold colors). So to say the least, Target came through for SOMEBODY. Had a chance to see the email he received, so they are legit emails...we haven't received them yet because it seems like most of us on here preordered 6 Pluses. They do anticipate another shipment in sometime before 11am...so keeping my fingers crossed.

I can't soeak for anyone else but for me it was because I'll get a 10% discount off of out of pocket cost. 5% from the target red card and 5% from a pharmacy rewards coupon. And yes I have confirmed that both of these will be accepted for Apple products.
But I may be SOL regardless. As I've said before on this thread I'm buying off contract at full retail. People on this thread told me target wouldn't sell them of contract and I called and confirmed that is true. But, I specifically mentioned to the rep at preorder that was my situation and he said okay and got me a preorder. So I'm going to play dumb and if that doesn't work raise hell and hope they have a way to it in the computers that doesn't require a new contract. Because if the guy had told me that when I preordered I would've made other plans. Dicey situation at best. But I'm holding on to hope!
I got my email at 3am. Got a call from Target mobile guy saying mine is the only one that came in. 16gb plus ..Heading there soon.
