I think i want the orange case, but unfortunately its not available for pre-order yet. Targus has said they should be in the stores on friday, but colors will vary by stores

I was totally set on pink smart cover + Zaggskin on back but this case is changing my mind....buying a case for this iPad is a more stressful decision for me then the decision to purchase the iPad itself!
I ordered it in blue. I was originally going to wait for pink to become available. But, I don't love the shade of pink they're using.
At nearly 10 ounces, it's relatively heavy. But, it's attractive & has the features I want.
I've had good luck with Targus items in the past. I've got a 6 year old targus laptop bag that has not been treated gently & it's in amazingly good condition.

Just canceled my slimcase for this: http://www.thejoyfactory.com/product/csa111 This case looks amazing and the reviews for the previous gen are great on amazon... May be caseless for a few weeks waiting for it though.
That ones pretty nice but at $10 cheaper and more color choices I love the Targus Slim.
Looks good....if only these case makers would ditch the Smartcover folding style and go back to basics...the original iPad cover.
A year after using my iPad 2 on a daily basis and I still regularly think about how much I miss the iPad 1 (for the case alone...)
Hmmmm.......I was also leaning towards the Targus Slim, until I checked Hubby's Targus case on his iPad 2. I noticed that on 3 of the corners, on the back, the material is completely coming away from the shell, and he has only had this case for a few months.
So checking the JoyFactory case, I see that the back is a rigid plastic shell, with no covering glued onto it, and am thinking this might last longer. I'm just iffy about their color choices, the silver or bronze. If they are really dull and not glitzy, it could be a consideration. The ultra-slim design is very appealing.
There is another case, however, that I keep going back to, and that is the Yoobae Folio. I bought this for my iPad 2 a year ago, and the case still looks great, and has provided really good protection for my iPad, covering the entire border, without hiding too much of the bezel.

Anyone else usually hover at an Apple or BestBuy to look at the fit and feel of the cases before committing to buying it online?
NO. My ethical code of conduct says don't kick the tires at a brick and mortar unless I'm going to buy it from them.
Cool! When will you get it? Let us know how it is. I have Prime, so I can get it pretty fast if I want it. Just not 100% sure yet.

I ordered it on the 9th. It shipped today so should arrive on the 16th, along with my iPad. I ordered Indigo blue, which should go great with my first white iPad.
By the way, Prime is great. Not just the speed of delivery, but I feel I can order small accessories without paying more for shipping than for the actual item!
Wha? I ordered mine early yesterday from Amazon with overnight shipping and mine hasn't shipped yet. I ordered white.
I love the looks, but it seems a bit crazy that this case is $50. I guess supply and demand at work. New ipad, new case, huge demand, no discount. I'd buy it right away if it was more like $30, which I'm sure it will be in a few months.
Waiting to hear feedback or see it in person, and figure out if I would prefer this case, or a decent bag and smartcover/naked.
Edit: See now that Indigo is showing ships in 1-2 days, so even with Prime I wouldn't have it for Friday. Maybe Sat... Still, I can wait or get a smart cover to tide me over.

I ordered mine this morning, Indigo. I'm hoping it arrives at my office on the 16th, along with my new iPad.
