Lol! I'm with you. Curious, was the badge available for you before you ran? It wasn't for me.
Yeah I made sure that it was there. Well the badge did its job and got me to do an extra run this week.

Apple says this is a known issue, said we will get the badge it may just be delayed or unpair the watch, force restart and set it back up.
When I changed the region, the watch reset. But then I did do a hard reset, still no badge. No biggie.
Because if I use anything other than "other" I don't get credit for my exercise. Even if I do 3mph at a 7 deg incline I still get 10 minutes of credit for an hour's worth of work.
This is all part of Nike's evil plan to get us all a little fitter. Pure evil!OK, I couldn't wait any longer so I did a 3.15, or thereabouts, outdoor walk using the native activity app. That triggered the achievement. So I have the achievement now. I'm still disappointed that I didn't get it after running over 4 miles this morning using the Nike+ Run Club app.

How far was the walk?
I walked 3.11 and got credit for it. I was going to get that stupid badge one way or another.
I just went ahead and walked a 5k on the treadmill using the workout app. My 4 mile run this morning on NRC didn't take and all sorts of rebooting didn't work either.Did a 5k run this morning with NRC. No badge although the mileage was shown. Did an unpairing and restore to see if that would work. No dice.
So I realized tonight I got the Thanksgiving badge notification. Even though I reset and updated my watch in the morning. Of course it was too late to for me to go outside and power walk. So I tried to do an indoor workout before 12am. I missed the quota by .10 mile.
I'm seriously pissed!!
I would've ran outside for 2 mins. That should cover that
It looks to me like using third party apps does not work, despite the description saying otherwise.
It's terrible. When you're in the Health game you have to be reliable.
The first party activity app seems to work.
