They both have experience in the post season, they're both great, yes Hasek is the Dominator, but like I said before he's 43. I like Osgood over Hasek right now, but yet and still I don't think the Wings can take the cup.
I saw this once at the Coliseum, made me laugh, a lot lol.
Wow that's awesome dedication. Too bad we don't get crap here at school, let alone Versus. I reallllly hate Versus, I can't watch any games other than local games until thursday.

I'm very surprised as to how the Flyers/Caps series is turning out. I figured Ovy would be all over the Flyers. I guess the Caps ran outta steam?

That's funny because last year when the Rangers swept Atlanta, it was the first time the Rangers had had a playoff sweep since 1994 (it was also first round, but that time it was against the Uniondale Fishermen. Obviously it wasn't the Thrashers lol.). We thought it meant something too haha.
Colorado is hammering the Wild right now. 4 to 0 nearing the end of the second. Flames are up 2 to 1 at the 2nd intermission. Whoo! Go Flames!
Wow that flyers game really surprised me 6-3! I was not expecting this! No one else really who posted their predictions..

2. Thanks. But to be honest, it didn't really seem like we were doing anything too out of the ordinary. I guess it's a Canadian thing? Hockey's on. You watch it. It's on more than one channel? You get 2 tv's. Simple.
In 98, during the Nagano Olympics, we pulled crazy all-nighters so we could watch Team Canada play. I think some of the games were on live starting at 3 or 4 or 5 am. It was awesome. Nothing like watching hockey and drinking beer with the sun coming up....
3. Chalk in up to youth and inexperience. It's only 2-1. If the Caps win next game, it's a whole new series.

The Montreal v Boston game was a great game to watch. End to end action, especially in the first and third periods.
Watched the first period of the wild game and they played like ****. 3 defensive turnovers = 3 Colorado goals. I turned it off after that.
Olympics 06 I didn't even root for USA in hockey. I did in everything else, but not in hockey. I have my own reasons, some which I don't think many would agree with or be cool with, so I'll keep them to myself lol.
Actually I had a good year in world sports that year. Sweden won the Gold, and Italy won the World Cup.
That's true, but with the way they finished the season, I didn't think they'd be down 2 to 1 right now. I have mixed feelings about that series. I like Ovy, and I hate the Flyers, but I feel like I want the Flyers to win, idk why though lol.
Is this the year that Thornton stops being a dud in the playoffs? We'll see.....
I think Keenan has to go with CuJo to start next game, especially after that collapse. That would be the best strategic move- if CuJo doesn't play well, Keenan can do his usual revolving goalies bit and put Kipper back in. If he does play well, then that's why you signed him. Kipper's ego can handle not starting the next game because he knows that he'll be right back in there if CuJo stinks it up.

Hasek wasn't what he used to be. He's good don't get me wrong, but I think Ozzie is the way to go. But the Wings aren't gonna be sniffing the cup this year IMHO.
It's is pretty funny. We are good at golf. They have some pretty cool (overpriced) stuff there.
I don't think they've run out of steam. The Flyers have a pretty decent team. I still think it's gonna go 7 games.
I know. Sigh. I hope the Devils/Rags series goes 7 so I can go to game 7 and abuse Ranger fans.

It was tighter than the score indicates, but happy for the win. 1st period was a flurry of activity. Flyers need to win Game 4 at home as well. Nice penalty shot by Richards - not a shot really more of a slide...whatever works.
Tonight will have many emotions up, the last game I think a group of us at my dorm never experienced an emotional roller coaster like that before. I am a little afraid to have the party here again tonight, because of all my stuff, if one thing goes bad, we explode hahaha
Anyways, Great job sharks way to tie it up! I hope they win their series but it is becoming a great games, I hope I can catch one eventually. I'd also like to see Nash win tonight, because Wings fans will start to bite their nails more, and eventually have to resort to their feet. Lastly, of course I want to see the Rags lose tonight, a nice comeback is in order, and if they lose tonight I agree, they'll roll over, and just give the series away.
so right about the mtl boston series. it's tough on the nerves if you're a fan of either team, but it's great hockey. speed; puck control; skill; big hits and big saves.
although, i can't for the habs to end it so saku and francis 'soup' boullion have a chance to heal and get back. (if you don't know french, boullion is french for soup so that's what I nn' d him

Would have been nice to get the SO though. While we're at it, would have been nice not to give up the leads in Games 1-3. At this point we could be up 3-1 or have finished them off. Now we're in a 2-2 best of 3 fight having given back home ice. But if we play with last night's intensity, aggressiveness, and defensive responsibility for the next 2-3 games, we should take the series. Except for some bad breaks and the first period of game 1 as well as the OT of game 3, we have outplayed them throughout the series.
Shades of what Detroit did to SJ last year. The series was 4 minutes away from 3-1 Calgary and now the Flames look a little lost and SJ is gaining confidence and momentum.
I sent in a letter to the New York Islanders organization yesterday voicing some of my concerns with where the organization is heading. If you're interested take a look at the attachement.

I really liked it and you brought up some good points, now if you can get some more fans to do the same, maybe you can get something going here soon.
So how did you send it, and how did your ticket rep get it? Maybe it is being passed around which is good, but if you sent it right to your rep, just be careful that he takes it seriously and not for something that you think should be read. You might also want to address it to Mr. Wang's (is it bad that I still giggle at that?) office in hand writing or at least via snail mail, gets more personal and he might actually read it.
Thank you. I showed it to my friend and really liked it. There is a "share holders" meeting tonight at the coliseum. Snow and Nolan are going to detail their plan to fix the franchise.
I sent it via email to the customer service email box. I also submitted it online as a question for Snow and Nolan. My friend also faxed it in for me and I submitted it to my local newspaper.
Ultimately I want it to go to Wang (and no it's bad that you giggle at that). I will probably end up mailing that in. I was very serious about that letter, I wasn't playing around. These are some of the things I felt is wrong with the Isles ATM. They need to be addressed.

Forgetting the fact its an old crappy arena (still has great sight lines for hockey) its in the middle of hempstead. Most of the arenas are in large cities which makes getting to the Coliseum a pain in the butt. You have to drive and deal with parking and getting out. You have to leave 10 minutes early just to get out of the parking lot before 11. At MSG, you can drive, take the LIRR, subway, taxi, walk etc. The lighthouse project that Wang wants to build while it is i guess nicer who wants to buy a half million dollar condo on hempstead turnpike. Also the whole going to islander games is like a circus in there. Can you explain the whole pirate theme and sparky the dragon..i don't get it.

That will happen if the Lighthouse Project isn't approved. Notice I didn't even mention that. It is a fantastic idea in theory, but it will be impossible to implement due to parking concerns. (Parking would essentially be offsite). A brand new areana and perhaps a new hotel would do the job perfectly.
Parking at the Coliseum? It doesn't take that long to get out of there. The most I've ever spent getting out of there is 20 min. I don't know where you generated that outlandish number from.
