I'm guessing that — as a card carrying Wendie — red and white stripes weren't your choice? ;)

Good luck though! :)

lost 3-2 in the 88th minute. =(

we are 1-0-2.

Reminds me of Steve Agnew (only with more hair :) )

lol. Red stripes were my second choice. We had to chose international kits so we could get our sponsors printed on the front. i don't mind them. i like athletic club and they have red stripes. but yer right we do look too much like the pigs for my taste.

THE WEDNESDAY WON! DUMBARTON WON! ATHLETIC TIED...

[kitgeek]Paraguay home, unless I'm mistaken?[/kitgeek]

It's a nice shirt - plain patch on the back notwithstanding – and I was hoping that we'd be sporting a black and amber version this year. Not so though, and of course it would have had Cash Converters plastered over it anyway. Pah.

yer right. we get them from here: http://www.four4two.com/

we used club teams one season and then decided to get sponsors for the league so now we use international kits because the fronts are usually blank.

my team used the celtic home kit a couple of season ago. loved that kit. i keep making the argument that most people don't tuck in their shirts and the sponsor logo could go on the back at the bottom under the numbers. or we could use club teams and print the logo on the front under the other one. no dice tho...

Looking at your link, I note the announcement...

We can take off original logo patch and front sponsor name, print your own on jersey, just email us for more detail.

Food for thought if you fancy a Celtic shirt in the future. Just don't tell Fuzzy. ;)

If Hernandez is feeling a bit down about being injured again, this should cheer him up.

No matter how bad things seem, there's always someone else more unfortunate than you :)

Pay close heed to the rules on kit though, you wouldn't want to end up like poor Bath City.

The Romans' kids have been eliminated from the FA Youth Cup after five of their players – along with their gaffer – were sent off during their tie with Newport County. Their crime?

Their undercrackers were the wrong colour. :D

Welcome to Europe, Manchester. Weaknesses of both clubs fully exposed tonight.

I'm starting to despise Tevez. We know you don't want to play for the club but at least remain professional. Refusing to warm up in order to come on as a sub?!

Mancini must also share the blame, he should have let Tevez go. You can't take a hard line unless you're Fergie.

Manchester City simply looked paralyzed in the second half .. in the first was even between the teams but after the two gomez goals they were done

looks like they will now have to battle with napoli and villareal for the second place

Do you really think I'm that shallow that on Thursday I'll be supporting Tottenham? ;)

I don't think I've posted here in a week. Rangers knocked out of Mickey Mouse trophy, won in the league, same old same old.

If Tevez doesn't watch out he'll be on loan to the SPL. It's the footballing equivalent of being sent to Coventry.

Blimey, worse than going to Coventry City!

None of that Tevez nonsense for Carrick, he was on the pitch, somewhere. Good to see they learnt from the first-half. Oh dear, defending isn't the Premier League's forte.

Cheers,

we looked into that. they can't remove it. what they do is print over the sponsor. they cover it with what the predominate jersey color is and then print our image. so on the celtic home kit we'd get a big green square on the front with our new logo on top of that. we are afraid that it won't look good.

Indeed, the last thing you want is a nasty great patch stuck on the front of your shirt. They just look horrid.

Mr Burger Bite agrees.

In a bit of an oddity, the SPL are trialling Friday night football with Dumfermline traveling to Aberdeen this evening. But it wasn't televised. So what's the point of forcing the fans to take a half day off work to drive 2.5 hours up the road?

Of course they would never dare trial this with the Old Firm...

...even though the Old Firm faced each other what, six or seven times last season? MLS has quite a few weekday games anymore, and Friday games are always on the schedule. Unfortunately they happen at 4pm local time...

Good gravy, Pilkington just missed a golden chance to score against Man U. de Gea was well positioned, but I think he should have scored...

...and now United have their inevitable goal. Bad luck for Norwich, they played well and United didn't look all that great. But the result was a forgone conclusion.

The ref spoiled the derby in Liverpool, not much to say about other than I'm glad Carroll scored and Timmy Howard saved a penalty.

Don't forget that we should have a couple of weeks where Dalglish can't complain about how the referees are out to get Liverpool.

BTW, ManUtd had Lindegaard in goal today.

I wouldn't bet on it...managers, as breed, have an inborn tendency to blame refs for just about everything. ;)

Well, that shows how closely I watched the match. :D Norwich didn't look all that bad, but in the end Utd just applied too much pressure.

Suarez's acting helps get Rodwell sent off, he trips Jagielka and gets a penalty, and pushes Baines into Distin for his goal; cheating, goofy slimeball. I'm just warming up for the next game, and trying to focus on something other than yet another dodgy Manchester United performance. :) It's not working:

Is Hernandez the best choice if you know the opposition is going to have a lot of players sat at the back? Needed Berbatov's passing.

Cheers,
OW

Anyway, we scored two goals yesterday to vanquish Caerdydd — thrillingly this was the first time that we've managed to register more than a single goal in a match so far this season.

That'll teach 'em. :p

was Caerdydd wearing that hideous new third kit?
