I'm just tired of the losing.

I really thought Reimer would be better than this. I thought he wouldn't play as well as last season, but I thought he'd play sound. He doesn't.

The goalie coach needs to go. Sorry, but Allaire obviously isn't a good fit. That, or Ron Wilson needs to go.

How can a coach lose for so long, and yet keep his job? He can't get this team together.

Joking aside, I know the feeling. I was a rush standing-room fan, in my day. Green if I was lucky, Greys if not. ;)

Reimer is still just a kid. Let him mature.

Why, because he rests Gustavsson when he's hot? He has to.

Let the season play-out, then we can address the issue of Allaire afterwards.

In the words of Tevya, "Tradition". :D

Old man, you're going senile. You need to start making sense. ;)

So true....I still don't understand what he posted.:p

It's so crazy. We win 4 in a row, everything is clicking, and then, boom, we lose 3 in a row.

They even split up Kessel and Lupul at practice today. I guess they're trying everything at this point.

I don't know what to say about Reimer. I think his confidence is shot, and I think the team doesn't feel as confident in front of him as they did last season and at the beginning of this season.

They really should have won yesterday. There's no excuse for giving up a 2-0 lead.

Wilson was even given an extension at the end of December when they were playing well. Burke should have waited until the end of the season to do that.

The Leafs need a first line center and another solid defenseman. If Burke can get those things, and the injured players can come back and play effectively, I think that the team would be much improved.

Yeah, I know, and now it looks like the dumbest decision ever. It happened just before Christmas.

I don't know if they need another centre, or another defenceman. They need a new goalie coach, a new head coach, and a fresh mentality.

We definitely need a true bonafide first-line centre (I'll spell it the proper way, for old times' sake :p). Bozak won't cut it, and Connolly isn't cutting it and is too injury prone

so-

what is the probability of Chara taking any nucks at the fantasy draft? I say 1/100,000,00,000,000,000

Heh....agreed.

This year, the very last pick will be a defenseman, so I'm thinking that they'll leave Phaneuf for last so he and Kessel can race their free cars. I wonder if Ovechkin will act like an ass again.

Just wanted to say how awesome these Caps throwback uniforms are:

That's what happens when you play a rough game and decide not wear a helmet. A friend of mine once had someone skate over his ear, and split it right down the middle.

Nah, it was a freak accident. Players have been going helmet-less in the warmup skate forever. I don't think it has anything to do with it being a rough sport.

Oh hell, I would never do that. Of course, during warmups, I'm being hit with lots of pucks. :) I just never saw the sense in being out there with pucks flying and guys zooming around ice with razors attached to their feet without a helmet. But that's just me. ;)

I'm not going to disagree with you on any of that, but it still has nothing to do with the roughness of the sport. That's all I was saying. :)

I'd probably wear a helmet in the warmup skate as well.

Well, not the fighting/checking part anyway. Pucks and skates can be pretty rough though. ;)

I see guys not wearing helmets a lot, and it's just not smart. I've seen more than my share of players have to leave before the game even starts because of that.

From the other night's game. A Bruins fan didn't appreciate getting silly stringed by the Lightning mascot. I've been to both Rays and Lightning games and it's just something they do. And usually the victim is a good sport about it. This guy.... not so much. In other news, look at that gaudy shirt.

That's quite lame. I would be pretty pissed if I spent money to go to a game and some stupid ass mascot sprayed me with that ****. Typical **** of crap teams with no real fan base though.

Seriously? It's friggin' silly string. It's harmless. It was all in good fun. Dude, I think you're a bit over-sensitive.

The Bruins fan should have told security to tell the mascot to back off, or he should have just told the guy to F off, he didn't need to rush at him and push him down. Because he did that, he deserved to be kicked out.

Oh, **** and **** and **** for good measure.
