Although I'm a Wings/WC fan, I must say nothing is going to top the entertainment of Pens/Flyers (or Flyers/Pens, who cares) in round one. During the game on NBC, they kept mentioning home ice, home ice, but Philly is 5-0 in Pitt's new home since it opened.
Also, since I never really watch the Flyers, how many times did Hartnell run off his own net at the whistle for almost no reason? 2-3 times easily that I saw and I had it in the background sometime. I was laughing so hard -- not once was he actually pushed or forced into it. Maybe one time it was close, but he could've easily just turned, but didn't even try.
It just seemed so out of the ordinary each time he did it I couldn't believe it and wonder if he normally does that.

Pretty crappy but clean. A 3 goal game and seeking a top player stinks...
Who isn't going to watch the Saturday game this week?
If there is a hockey god the standings won't change before the playoffs and these two will go at it.
EDIT: I know that the chances are slim for things to change but the potential is there.

I will be praying that the hockey gods just keep us above the playoff line-and should we our playoff dance end early, that it happens quickly as to not delude us into thinking we have a real team.....

Speaking of playoffs, even with that absolutely absurd win by the Sabres, they're still looking in from outside the playoffs due to less regulation wins than Washington. I think they're too banged up to end up getting in though. Good run, look forward to what they have next year.
