I never said that the Canucks winning the Cup is certain. I just disagreed that the only glimmer of hope that a Canadian team has for winning a Cup is the Oilers. Oh, and I also disagree that the NHL is somehow fixing it so that they are stacked to win a Cup.

I think that the Canucks are better prepared for the playoffs this year. Please don't misinterpret that statement as me cheering for them.😛

I think Weber will get a one game suspension for slamming Zetterberg's head into the glass at the end of their game. Looked like a WWF head into the turnbuckle move.

Seriously huge Pitt choke. Flying so high in the first and Philly just clawed back into that game. Good game, gonna be a great series. Over under on more OTs in that series: 2?

Edit: That makes Philly 6-0 in the Pitt's new home, right?

And Nashville got 2 lucky bounce goals, but that's playoff hockey. Weber at the end was such a goon move, x2. He should get a game for that nonsense.

I just got off the plane and missed everything. Looking forward to checking it out on center ice tomorrow.

EDIT: Can't watch the LA / VAN game on center ice because all of the games are on TV. f'ers.

Pretty wild first period in Vancouver. Questionable Vancouver goal followed by a string of stupid Vancouver penalties with 2 LA 5-on-3's, but only 1 goal. Looking forward to the rest of this game.

Nothing like the playoffs - call the game like it's 2009 out of the blue and don't suspend players for blatantly intending to injure another. Typical NHL.

As a Wings fan, whether it's been Weber or Pronger, it's not too new to have an opponent try to injure a Wings forward in the playoffs and fail to receive a correct punishment.

Brenda Sheethead (BS) basde the judgement Zetterberg wasn't injured.

I guess if Zetterberg's head was cracked open then a 1 game suspension would have been considered. 🙄

The wings seem to have a tough time against Nashville and Columbus.

Webers move was dangerous.

I am actually hoping for a wings / rangers final.
