Yeah, I was annoyed to realize I wouldn't be home until around 6pm, then I realized it's the Yankees/Red Sox, and the damned game will probably be 4 hours long.

All jokes aside, we're in serious trouble if we don't make some noise this weekend. Seems like we always get you guys when we're stumbling. We'll see, I'm sure I'll lose a few years off my life in the next 72 hours.

And it always seems like when you guys are stumbling we set you off on a nice winning streak.

Such is life in the Sox-Yanks rivalry.
 
The good news is that we won. The bad news is we have a day night double header. What pen will survive.
 
Adding to the fun of a double header is rain that could inturupt both games.
 
Kansas City fans are sick of being one of the worst teams in baseball. So they want to give Philly fans a run for their money for being the most classless in baseball.... Boo Cano and cheers when he made an out. And it's really despicable when they did it on the gold ball. Not only did cheering Cano's out cost charity $3,000 for each HR for the first 9 outs, they cheered when the out cost charity $18,000 per HR......

A) What did Cano do to deserve that treatment in Kansas City? It just can't be he is a Yankee.... B) Cheering on the lost money is disgusting.

He didn't choose Billy Butler to be on the Derby squad. And they generally hate the Yankees in Kansas City anyway. Remember that game where they threw fake money at the players and walked out?

The one person who would not have been happy was Steinbrenner. No Yankee has ever gone 0fer in the derby.

Very mature. Especially because you are talking about a team with the best record in baseball.

I can respect someone who is a fan of another team - but I have no respect for ignorance.

I find that the only comeback that those who have no knowledge of baseball can come up with is, "The Yankees suck".
