Who is watching College Football today? My favorite sport...well College Basketball is also awesome.
I love college football, and I watch this more then NFL. I find myself spending more time watching college and its a more enjoyable experience. Yesterday's games were awesome, I particularly enjoyed the Baylor/Texas game, that was quite a slug fest. Tenn/SC was another game that was gritty and you didn't know who was going to come out on top, though Tenn's offense had trouble looking consistent for most of the night.

I liked the Baylor/Texas match also.

If Bama can get by LSU next week (the two following games shouldn't present a problem), the Iron Bowl is shaping up to be a real contest this year. Props to Auburn for their success after a shaky start.

I was shocked at first, but after comparing both, I feel it may be justified.

UW's best wins are Utah (solid) and... Stanford?
TAMU has solid wins over Auburn, Tennessee, and Arkansas. Overall, TAMU has a tougher schedule, and their only blemish is a loss over the best team in the nation, in a game that TAMU led halfway through the 3rd. If TAMU wins out, I put them in over UW.

Wow,some upsets out of left field.

I did not expect Clemson to fall to Pitt. I'm really impressed with Pitt in hanging tough and not giving up in that game.

Washington falling as well, puts the whole playoff scenario up in arms, it looks like louisville may very well make it into the plays and/or Ohio St.

3) Louisville
My only issue with Louisville is that the strength of their schedule (or lack there of). They played Clemson and FSU, and lost to Clemson.
I think Clemson should be #3 and Michigan #4 given the harder schedule of Michigan and beating more ranked opponents.

FYI those predicting Ohio State as a final four contender, keep in kind that they need to win out and Penn State to drop a game in order to go on to the conference championship.

It'll be funny if Penn State winds up facing Wisconsin and then Wisconsin murders them. Now what do you do? Conference champion Wisconsin to the playoff and 1 loss Ohio State to the Rose Bowl or something even though Wisconsin lost to Ohio State at home?

This season is even weirder than it seemed it would be back in September. We Bama fans didn't know if Hurts or Barnett would get the starting QB position, and I doubt if most of us had even heard of Josh Jacobs. Looking at the schedule, I was thinking that Alabama would be lucky to get to this point in the regular season with one loss.

Now, with only two games left, I'm still worried about Auburn. Some pundits are discounting them after their loss to Georgia, but the Iron Bowl is such a strong rivalry game. The Tigers will forget about the rest of their down-up-down season and focus on beating Alabama, who I hope will be psyched. For that matter, I don't think that the Tide can afford to look past any game, including Chattanooga on Saturday.

I don't understand why people are worried about Alabama making it through their schedule. They are the only good team in a very weak SEC right now. I guess they could get upset, but it's not like hey have stiff competition.

After last weekend, I don't think any Alabama fan is/should be worried. They're essentially a lock for the CFP. Anything can happen, as we saw this past weekend, but I don't think Alabama has to worry about Tennessee (who they already beat this year) or Florida (who has absolutely no offense). Not that I would want to see an Alabama team play more loose than usual, but they're pretty much allowed one loss between now and the SEC title game and they would still be in position for a playoff spot.

I see where you're coming from. But, I think that the committee will look at the fact that overall, Louisville has not let poor teams hang around with them, and Clemson has, very often. I think that losing on the road by 6 at Clemson, the other playoff contending team in the ACC, is the most forgivable loss that L'ville can have. Plus, L'ville looks better right now.

Who knows, I think you can make an argument for any of the top ten or so teams to possibly be in the playoff. We'll find out tomorrow.

I think Alabama, Wisconsin, Ohio State (or Michigan if they win out) are going to get in should the win out. Toss up between Washington/Clemson/Louisville.

Bama fans who live in Alabama worry about the Iron Bowl no matter what type of season both teams have had up to that point. The only exception I can think of was 2012, when Auburn had 8 losses coming into the IB and were beaten 49-0.

The continuous expectation of winning I guess. :D

No I do think they should always worry about this game, but I mean just in general as the season goes.

Agreed, though I'm sure Nick Saban would say otherwise. He hates it when anyone refers to an easy win game—like the one against Chattanooga this weekend—as a cupcake. :)
