I have little confidence in Liverpool right now. Most of the pieces are there, and Klopp knows what he's doing, but fatigue and injuries plus the schedule have taken the edge off what was (and my be again) an all-time-great squad. Liverpool might get the better of Man Utd in the next couple matches, but it will be a slog and there is every chance they lose both. Klopp won't take advantage of Man Utd's inability to break down tight defenses; he'll play the usual style and there will be tons of space for Man Utd's fast players to run into. It's perfectly set up for a Liverpool 0-1 Man Utd (Rashford 90+1")
This is not a good year for possession-oriented, systems-based management philosophies that require lots of coordination and lots of constant running. Teams with a more reactive style of play are over-performing.
