Not a West Ham fan, but that new special away kit is very tempting:

Nice draw for Spurs and Everton this evening. Added bonus Kane scored twice as I made him triple captain as they play twice.
Just hope we don’t slip up against Newcastle.

We'll see if he does play twice this matchweek after suffering an injury in the late going.

The Maiden collabo looks solid. A club like Man United would have so many bands to choose from: The Stone Roses? (Sorry, Reni!) New Order?

MLS kick off tonight!

I'm at the NASHVILLE SC game!

COME ON YOU BOYS IN GOLD!

Drew 2 -2 with FC Cincy.

We started off up top, 300 section. Then a friend of ours told us to move down with him as there were 3 open seats next to him. We were sat in the "kop end", I guess, when we hit the equalizer. Happened right in front of us.

Gosh.

Arsenal.

I don't often say this, but - for once - thank some divinities that I have difficulty believing in - for games that last as long as ninety seven minutes.

Truth is playing teams at the bottom of the table at this stage in the season, is no easier than those at the top. If they are in a relegation fight they can play their hearts out sometimes.

Agreed, and very true.

It is easiest to play those at the bottom mid season; at the start of the season, sometimes, they can inflict surprise and unexpected defeats on supposedly better teams, while by season's end, they are often fighting for their very lives, and are difficult to defeat, (and even if players are not motivated by loyalty, they may perhaps be motivated to put themselves in the shop window in time for the inevitable post relegation sales.)

So very true! Also teams that have been relegated can sometimes start winning. Sometimes for the reasons you state, and sometimes because the pressure is off.

Man U's 3-1 win was satisfactory. I don't like the 'Super League' idea.

Absolutely pure greed. Glad to see France and German teams are saying no thanks. Any league without promotion and relegation gets a thumbs down from me.
Very underwhelmed by the Super League idea, pure greed, as @Apple fanboy says, and outrageously entitled, avaricious, and disgustingly and disgracefully selfish.

Above all, I am disgusted to see that Arsenal seem to be one of the six (English) teams in question.

A friend of mines son is getting a trial with Wednesday.

True story.

I cannot express how happy and sad it makes me because he's a good kid and we are **** organization.

I hope the 6 get thrown out of the premier league after this. Fans are furious and this will have a massive effect on English football. They’ve just made a massive mistake.

The joke is, as I see it the problem with the CL is it isn’t is it? It’s not the best club from each season competing. It’s the top three or four. By adding more clubs (two of which currently won’t qualify for the CL this year. Maybe even three), that’s not going to improve the quality IMO. The opposite.
Disgusting idea. Motivation is purely selfish. I’d be ashamed to be associated with my club if they had been involved.

Good luck to him. Years ago I played with a kid who was offered a trial at Sunderland. He was a massive Newcastle fan so refused. Then as he got a bit older he got into drinking and drugs and the football took a back seat. Sad. He might have been good enough. I could never stop him even though he was 6-10 years younger than me!
