I'm deeply rooting for Perez. He has a signed agreement to get Mourinho and he would be exiting Benfica.

We at Benfica would be a truly inovating club. The first to see Mourinho leaving and getting paid for that. 15M euros.

And we already have Marco Silva lined up (former Fulham manager). Win win win.

I wouldn't mind seeing Real wildly overspend on some new central midfielders and sell Tchouaméni to United to make room.

The whole €150m Galactico thing is truly bizarre, especially with the stipulation that it's not a PL player. I'd guess it's Michael Olise? Maybe Harry Kane, but that price tag is a real stretch even for them. [EDIT: Apparently, it's Vitinha]

There have been some somewhat likable iterations of RM recently under Zidane and Ancelotti, but this version ain't it.

I wouldn’t mind seeing Real Madrid play PSG… think we could get fireworks!

But I agree with their assessment that Vitinha is worth 150m. He is obviously the best of the PSG midfield, tremendous work rate and reminds me of a young Modric.

Some of us have been (suffering) fans for far longer (by a degree of some decades longer) than we have been members of this forum, a stat that clocks in at, in my own case, somewhere just under 18 years.

You’ve only been an Arsenal fan 18 years? I’ve been a West Ham fan ever since I can remember. My Godfather used to take me in the 70’s and 80’s. My Dad was too busy playing football to go watch matches back then.

These days he occasionally goes to Leyton Orient, but much prefers watching in the pub.

Unfortunately for this World Cup with the late kick offs, I shall most likely watch the matches in the bedroom and end up falling asleep (as I did for last nights unconvincing friendly).

No, I wrote (and I admit that I could have expressed myself with greater clarity) that I have been an Arsenal fan for far longer than I have been a member of this forum (which I joined in 2008).

Actually, I've been an Arsenal fan since I was a very small kid, and watched them, utterly entranced and completely captivated - on the black and white TV we had at the time - defeat Liverpool in the FA Cup Final (en route to their first Double) on a sunny early summer's day.

Not a loved CEO at West Ham. He resigned yesterday from that position. But I’ve read very little on the allegations and probably won’t to be honest.
Hopefully a multimillionaire decides to come in and buy him out.

Agreed I don’t recall seeing any girls or ladies at the football back then.

Most weekends we went to watch my Dad play. My sister and I both loved football. As far as I know she still does.

So what your saying is, when Fulham finally win something, I’ll discover I’m surrounded by hundreds of fellow fans!

Horrified to see that he collapsed, but delighted to see that he was able to walk from the field, and that he seems fine after having spent a short spell in hospital under medical supervision.

Will supporters force him out?

The details released on BBC website are shocking and i dont think he can survive this.

Club itself will suffer big time especially when they are looking to bounce back straight away.

He’s already resigned. So basically if someone wants to buy him out I guess. But having been relegated he won’t get the return he wants.

Let’s face it owners can be hated for years and stay. Just ask Manchester United fans!

The West Ham (or rather Sullivan) situation is shocking and it does throw conventional wisdom out the window in terms of the club's immediate future.

I still think they have a very good chance of earning immediate promotion IF the ownership situation can be stabilized this summer. Admittedly a big IF, but in many ways it is an attractive club to buy. But if Sullivan hangs on I can see things getting incredibly toxic very fast. He's the kind of man who doesn't care about anyone but himself, so he's not going to do the right thing unless his hand is forced.
