Meh -

it's like that kid from high school that everyone knew was gay finally coming out of the closet & making a huge deal about it

Paul is Dead

Doing my best to add to the tradition:

In that picture it's interesting that only Ringo has his hands out of his pockets.
The others are all dead.

Miss Hiiiiiimmmmm ;)

You are Apple's dream customer. Lazy, no comprehension of basic computer interaction, and disposable income.

I work two jobs, run an eBay business on the side and spend every evening driving my daughter to her various activities - so I am not actually "lazy". I also used to be able to write a good autoexec.bat file and some C++ instrument code back when everything was DOS based, so I am not a total loss with computers - I just don't have the time to work much with itunes. My itunes is also on a netbook - which makes it a bit cumbersome to rip a cd. Also - most of my Beatles collection is on LP. I only have two of their CD's. Yes - disposable income is something I have plenty of and I am Apple's dream customer. I also think Steve Jobs is kinda hot!

Wow, this is considered breaking news now? Truly sad.

Quite like the Beatles, but this surely ranks as one of the most anti-climactic non-events evah!

I don't really think it's about liking the Beatles or not, but more about the fuss Apple is making about nothing.

But that's just it, they didn't make a fuss. MR did, along with the rest of the news media that saw the announcement. Only 24 hours of an announcement with very little marketing. It's not like we all waited weeks with all sorts of advertising. I'm beginning to hate Macrumors because some people here take the fun out of being here with constant Apple hate and way too much negative energy for no reason and all this sense of entitlement for nothing that they deserve. If you bought into the hype and you're disappointed, it's YOUR FAULT!

Boring. I'm disappointed, although of all the rumors swirling around for today, none of them got me excited.

Ok so now the beatles are on iTunes. What is major announcement? I am still on the edge of my seat waiting for something like streaming or subscription service!!!!

Please, please!

Wow! They have the Beatles' entire first American concert on Apple.com! I'm going to watch that tonight! :)

Same here. I tried to stream it now, but it seems that the servers are overloaded. Wish I were alive during that era.

And to other haters, come now. As another poster commented, Apple didn't hype this, it is the media that went crazy. Blame them.

may be the do not live in that generation and may be they do not live in this country (or countires, US, UK, Aus, Jp) where beatles is popular???

There was nothing special about their music. It was simple. No soul and heart into it. It was boring. No emotion. Very simplistic. Not worthy of all the attention. They were just four hot guys who had wat was considered swag for their day. Anybody could have sang the way they did. There are plenty of better bands that have performed since then.

Apple is NOT on my good side today.

Seriously, why cause this much ruckus over the Beatles coming to iTunes?

They put an announcment on their website, not much of a ruckus,a ruckus would have been to organise a keynote.
