Hey I was wondering how you figured it out on your own, where you're from and what time you pre ordered it? I still haven't got mine :C
Is anyone else in Canada (particularly AB) having issues with LTE availability? I keep getting pretty spotty coverage, even though I'm with Virgin and they piggyback on the Bell/Telus towers do they not? What's been people's experiences with that so far?
Spotty here in Vancouver, and I'm well within the Telus advertised coverage area (square in the middle, actually). I've seen a few post here and a bunch on the @TELUSsupport twitter feed saying the same thing. Looks like they've got some bugs to sort out.
I just got an email from Telus saying that they are low on the 32 gb stock but that I can get a free upgrade to 64 gb iPhone 5 if I am willing to wait until October 12th to receive it instead of September 28th which is when my preorder was scheduled to arrive at point or preorder.

Which has no real information about what I'm submitting. All the info is in the email.
If this is for real I'm not sure what to do. Waiting another 2 weeks would suck but the extra space/value might be nice. I don't need 64 gb but I do scale back my music on my 32 gb 3GS to keep some open space.

Yes, I am in the same situation - mine unlocked 16 gb black is sitting in zhengzhou since last sunday, Sept 23... Expected delivery date to Toronto was initally Sept 28, later changed for Oct 2-d... Seems to be a problem overthere, let's see.
Just re-checked again 5 minutes ago - it has departed from ZhengZhou today ,on Sept 25, 17:16 local time! However it does not say where to - Hong Kong/another airport in China/Alaska?

That's amazing, my 3G at my house is usually around 4-5, since the iPhone 5 it is up to around 7 so I assume I'm getting HSPA+.

Got the same email. Here's something to remember, the activation fee, 5 free movies, and the $75 data plan or $65 plan expire Sept 30. So I just messaged them and asked if I would lose these benefits. I'll wait to hear from them.
Activation fee is free as long as you preordered before the cutoff date. If you call into loyalty, you can get the $75 plan for $65 or even better. Anyhow, as long as you already chose your plan, you should be good with it.
So the thing is, will you prefer the 5000 scene points (good for IMAX movies - 5 of them!) or the extra space upgrade at the expense of two weeks? I'm personally passing on that offer. I already have a 64GB Z series player for my multimedia needs.
I don't remember seeing anything about IMAX movies when I was preordering. The extra space could be useful but not really needed. I tend to maintain my 32 gb 3GS with a few gb of extra space at any given time. Any more and my iCloud backup size would increase between my iPhone and iPad as well.
Then there is the part of me that just doesn't want to wait lol. I received my Speck case in the mail yesterday and so now I just want the phone! I know 2 weeks in the end not a big deal but damn
i strolled in. and there are different rules for business customers... you can only upgrade at a company owned store (rogers plus).
I just read on the Rogers forum that they won't be shipping business phones for 4 weeks minimum.
The girl I spoke to in customer service told me they were going to ship today 90% likely.... and low and behold still no tracking number. Im still numbers 2 and 3 in line for white 64gigs.
Any update? I went from #382 to #361 so either there was some movement or 21 people were frustrated and cancelled their orders...
Mine was at zhengzhou on Sep 23 and korea today. Sitting there since this morning.......coming to Toronto
I ended up picking up phones in store, but I had to get black instead of white 64gig.
Which store and how did you pick it up? I tried and they say it's only for new activations or people who reserved it.
I want a black 64.. maybe they have more? When did you pick it up?
I just cancelled my Telus preorder. I preordered September 14th, 5:00 PM. I was told I'd receieve my iPhone on Friday and it's now 4:00 PM on Tuesday so I'm going to go and buy it in store.
After back and forth conversations by email with a Telus associate we agreed it'd be better to cancel my preorder and he also said "no prob, its doneJ we did not receive as many devices as we were told, and we don’t control the stocks they have, so sorry for the delaysJ" So anyone waiting for their iPhone 5 preorder from telus, you might as well cancel.

Fairview pointe-Claire. They're usually cool, and this time was no exception. Told them my preorder was still not shipped, they did my upgrade right there.
I activated my Telus phone on the website, but I saw no mention of the $65/$75 plans. I can't remember their details and I want to check them out. I assumed they would be under the plan options like normal.
*edit* I found the website listing the plans. I'm currently paying $50 for a plan that is the same, but with less data. I'm not sure if the extra data is worth $15 more.
