The Comprehensive iPad Accessories Thread

Thanks for the link to the Orbino iPad case. Pricey, but perfect. Classic, minimalist and sans the detachable shoulder strap....perfection. Ordered the brown.

...

I wish you hadnt posted! :)

Now I want this in the Brown Croc.

I just have to hide my Amex until the urge passes! ;)

What? Last time I looked at Dealextreme (yesterday) all I could find was the screen protector.

*scampers off*

Edit: Hmm, I'm still only seeing the screen protector when I search for iPad. Maybe I'm misinterpreting the previous post. Or failing at search.

The silicone is listed for a "9.7" Macbook" for some reason. Here is the link.

and to the other items if anyone is interested.

I agree!! I have to remember to show it to my daughter today!

Thanks :)

That's awesome, AJ! :D

Thanks, kiwi13 :D

Just bought this
http://cgi.ebay.com/Black-8-9-inch-...emQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item3a58cd8286
$5.39 with free shipping, if its crappy I wont feel bad wasting too much money.

Wow! What a deal!

I bought that sleeve, a silicone case and a screen protector for about 20 bucks from dealextreme. I see no need spending so much money on a case solution just yet.

Makes sense to me . . . like the iPhone I'm sure there will be many more cases/sleeves coming out later.

I like. I wonder how easy it is / would be to slap in the wall mount when needed ? The site doesn't really give much info other than the pics.
i.e. Go into the kitchen, pop the iPad in, start cooking - then pop it out again when you're done. Too many screws bolts and fiddy whatsits would be a chore but a secure one second or so pop in method really appeals to me, as I have zero counter space in the kitchen for a kickstand.

as I posted in another thread..

What about the bag in the movie Hangover? Apparently this bag was already their #1 seller.

They also make some other nice bags too.

Just an update on the Foof Bags, on the store now, and prices;

AU$28 = EU€18 = GBP£16 = US$24

Yep, though note that this actually works out to US$32.87 after shipping and Paypal currency conversion. Ordered my "Not Easy Being Green" one a week ago. Shipping date in their e-mail is April 1st, so hopefully it won't take too long. I'll just have to coddle my iPad in something else for a week or two.

Can't wait, though. I think a sleeve is perfect for this device, and Foof's are the nicest I've seen.

Thinking of the hardgraft sleeves to go with Muzetto :p

What do people think of them? Can't make up my mind between the two of them :p

Ok the first one http://shop.hardgraft.com/product/e-reader-case is nice due to the strap, can imagine taking that to meetings quite easily... Though someone may think it's a nook :p

The second which is only for iPad http://shop.hardgraft.com/product/ipad-case, well I like the fact it doesn't have brown leather just in case the brown leather clashes with the Muzetto - god this is hard :D Also like the envelope styly and the fact I could take the iPad out without taking the case out of the Muzetto as its vertical.

Seems to be shipping now, have sent them an email to ask

Hoping that order goes through ok on Apple site (after bundlebox ran out) but hey it may work out a lot cheaper if it does :p

Thoughts?

I do like the waterfield smart case, but fancied something different and will probably get the wallet case (happy owl I think) when it is available in UK.

Cheers

I decided to pick up the Muzetto 15", not for an iPad in particular (it would be a bit big) but for my laptops. I am hoping with with a decent case an ipad can slip in either the back or front pocket.

I will post some feedback when it arrives.

I already have the personal Muzetto

Its very nice, and you can tell it is well built. You won't be disappointed!

I just want a sleeve now for the iPad for it. Hence liked the HC ones, a bit different.

Ok, so this is the first time I've seen any kind of "jacket" that I have felt any desire at all to clothe my iPad in. 10 points to these guys for thinking outside the square!

I must admit I think the shoulder strap is a bit of a brain fart, but the other modules all make some pretty good sense to me. The framing of the Apple logo is sweet too, really makes the whole design "Pop".

I just sent them an email and suggested that they need to redesign the kickstand to also support a landscape 30 degree elevation similar to the Apple case for desktop typing...

Very impressed! :D

Look again. It is ingeniously simple!

Mount: Slot in, push down
Unmount: Pull up, Pull out

It's an age old concept that's been used on all sorts of things like shelving, speaker wall mounts, etc.

I have the iPhone equivalent of that case (pic: right), and thanks to your post, and how much I love my current case, you can bet I'll be ordering that one as soon as they will take (way too much of) my money.

I have a Vaja case for my first-gen iPhone..... Needless to say I was rather ticked off when it wouldn't fit either of the next two iPhones! That said, it is a very nice case indeed. I think that for my iPad I'll be going in a different direction, though......

Vaja makes nice cases and they have a lot of experience. I bought a Vaja case for my Palm Pilot years ago and was happy to find it fit my iPod touch very well, it probably would fit as an iPhone case also. Point is that it was a very good investment that lasted years. :)
