Probably about 60 mph (98 kmh) -ish. :p

Hey, I only have my permit and I haven't learned how to drive on the freeway yet, so shh. :D

Gosh, I'm not sure... but I know I've driven 75 mph in a 60 mph zone before, while totally not realizing I was going that fast.

On a bicycle: 62 mph coming down a mountain in PA in the rain. I was 27 mph over the speed limit in the little town I was riding through. I hoped I would get a ticket just to have proof ;)

Wow, that's stinking fast. The fastest I've gotten my road bike to is 51.5km/h (32mph) and I was giving her 110%.

I know. Without pedaling we would get up to about 45 mph down the hills, so that gives you a bit of a head start. I don't think I'd do it as an adult now, though, it was pretty intense. It was a long time before I reset my speedometer just so I could flash the max speed number around ;)

Peaked at 120-ish in a Celica. It was a few years back, so I can't remember the exact number. I just remember forgetting about the limiter and thinking "Oh crap - I'm in the middle of nowhere Montana and my engine just died. This sucks."

I plan on, as some point in my life, going faster. Someday....

130 MPH in a Jaguar S Type, heading down to Carmel CA for my B-Day.
I was impressed by how smooth the ride was and how effortless it was for the car to get to the speed and maintain it. Good Kitty!

Fastest Speed you have ever driven at?

Ever?
85 MPH
In my own car (which I only got a few days ago)
65 MPH

Which doesn't sound like alot, unless I told you where I did it.
I had a good reason I promise.....;)
My front brakes had just been worked on, I wanted to see if it was worth the money.....

4 wheels... 132MPH ('06 VW Jetta)... on 2 wheels... 166MPH ('05 Yamaha R6, and it was stock!). Yeah, 166mph on a bike is crazy fast, that dashed line turns solid about 150...

110mph in my old 96 Acura Integra.

95mph in my 99 Audi A4 1.8T.

I rarely travel outside of the city so it's hard to go anything over like 40mph on a regular basis with traffic and all.

Once I was riding my '99 Yamaha FZS600 Fazer and thought to myself "hmmm just how fast can this go?". I entered the highway, saw little traffic and got to 200km/h. That's when I saw on my rearview mirror a black VW Passat whose driver must have been thinking "hmmm just how fast can this go?". then I got out of the way and back to civilized speed...

on the freeway - 170 mph in an S4.

on the street - 90 mph in an RSX.

awesome... the fastest i did when i had my R6 was ~130 mph. yep, it felt a lot faster when your body's the metal sheet. :D

EDIT: while we are on the subject, anyone here drives an '05/'06 GTO? i wonder how it handles when it's 150+ mph...

Well..... as my Tomtom says: 206 Km/h.
Was almost 220 Km/h (136 mph) on my speedometer, though ;)

Ofcourse this was "in Heaven" aka Deutsche Autobahn. :)

About 145mph (240 km/h) in Jaguar XK8 in winding British Columbia (Canada) roads around Okanagen wine country. Luckily the RCMP speeding ticket was a bit later, and lower 160km/h speed!

Some Germany autobahn stuff in large-engined Mercedes something at about same speed as well.- but that was deemed legal.

Yeah, I've gotten up to about 50 MPH on my bicycle on a hill here in Portland, Oregon. I was passing the rush hour traffic jam commute in the process, getting a *LOT* of angry glares as I happily waved. 50 was WORKING it, though, legs spinning like mad in top gear. A just plain coast gets me up to 40 on the same hill. (It's a 55 MPH highway, I was hoping to exceed the speed limit.)

126 in a Saturn ION 3 on 840 between the I-24 ramp and the Murfreesboro Rd exit.

Yes, for those of you who know, that is a slightly uphill stretch of road that's only 2 miles long.
