I've got wifi at home and at work but 3G is much faster than my work wifi. I do most of my streaming while in the car though. I use Pandora and Instacast quite a lot while driving around town (my work commute is only 15 minutes). It's really not that hard to rack up if you stream a lot while out and about. How do you multi-gb people get that much data usage? Do you not have wifi at home/work/school? What are you doing when not on wifi? (Netflix, pandora, spotify, something else)
Guilty as charged...
It's a no brainer, though... Unlimited for 5 bucks more. You'd be stupid to downgrade. At least that's what I tell myself.![]()
Here's my data usage for the past 6 months. I really have no idea what happened in September.![]()
That's impressive. I couldn't go that low if I tried.
Ha.
Everywhere I go has wifi.......
You live in a bubble or something?![]()
No, I just don't live in Albany.![]()
I have wireless at home and work, but not in my car, and a lot places I go.
Um, when I'm in my car, I'm driving, not using data-intensive apps.
Pandora, Google Music, iTunes match...![]()
When I'm not using my car's Sirius/XM, I use my iPhone's TuneIn Radio app in the car. It's not very data intensive.....
Aw. I can't join this club... cause I'm unlimited... but I use upwards of 8-10GB per month on data lol
Can't go cheap even if I wanted to
Have you received the text of doom yet?
Once, when I passed well over 14GB in 2 weeks. But that was my only text of doom. They didn't throttle me, but they said next billing cycle, if I were to continue that much usage, then they'll throttle me.
