Actually you are wrong. We all paid just $199 for our 16gb iPhone 4's. My monthly bill from AT&T is for voice, text and data service. In my opinion it would be comical for someone to add the monthly cost of their phone service to the cost of the phone itself.

i was supposed to get sent one, never got a confirmation email. hopefully it got sent out my name is nick spelled differently, i still hope he sent it out. maybe ill call and check

I went and checked the order # provided, White bumper w/ 1 overnight shipping! Only problem is site say they wont ship till July 16th. But I'm more then happy with the service I received yesterday and today. After being ignored and lied to over the weekend. :)

Nice. How do you know you got overnight shipping? On the order status for my free bumper it says "Shipping Method: Priority". Does that mean overnight or does yours explicitly say overnight?

Everybody knows the deal with subsidized phones. I'd still be paying the same amount per month whether I kept my 3GS or upgraded to the iP4. The only difference was an outlay of $299 upfront to upgrade to a new 32BG iPhone 4 and $18 to ATT.

I feel the price of entry for an iP4 was worth it. Guess I could have payed full price, but I would have paid $700 and my monthly payment to ATT would still have been the same.
 
I talked to Apple Care today, and they said they stopped giving it for free to people. I may try again tomorrow after work. The guy I talked to on the phone was really nice and helpful. He even e-mailed tonight to thank me for my call and that he is still not sure what is causing the reception issue.

I honestly don't even think my phone has bad reception issues, but I was just looking for an orange bumper. I'm not paying $30 for the thing, but if they give it to me for free, then I'll take it.
 
I called corporate, explained and mentioned this forum even, but the senior advisor said yesterday they stopped the free bumpers. He would not budge nor did he offer to make an exception.

oh, I told the guy I spoke with that my local AT&T store told me I could get it free. That did not work.
 
How long does it take to get the e-mail about the order statement? I called Apple around 8 hours ago, and we went through me giving her my address and telling her what color I wanted and everything. If I never get the e-mail what should I do? She said it should ship within 24 hours, and I'm not sure what she said about the e-mail...should I wait a week, then if I get nothing, do something then?

You got your e-mail confirmation within a few days of calling them and giving them your address and such? I'm only asking because I have no idea when the e-mail would come, but since you say it took you a few days, I'm completely fine with waiting a few days.

I think I need to contact Apple again. I spoke with someone Thursday evening and the order was placed Friday morning. Still showing as not shipped. If there was some good regular cases available in my area, I would just go ahead and get one instead of waiting for a bumper.
 
Called yesterday about the yellow spot issues and received a Free Bumper (which Apple's email says was sent yesterday) and a year of Mobile Me that I'm waiting on a call to verify.

What does free MobileMe or a Bumper have to do with the Yellow Spots?
 
ya i havent gotten a shipped email either. i check the link they sent me for both my wife and i's and it still says not yet shipped and my black one will be shipped in 5-7 days and her white one by the 16th. what color did you dad get? hopefully we will get a shipped email or update soon. especially since i called and got everything going on friday the 25th. if you called the 27th that doesent seem right that they already shipped it out. are you sure its not a conformation email that the case is processed?

Both my originally purchased iphone 4 and my replacement phone both had yellow spots. The Apple store is over an hour away. I called for compensation, and that's what was decided on.

so what process did you go through for the yellow spot issue? cause my wifes phone had a yellow spot when we first got it then the next day it went away. then today she noticed there is another spot on there again now. from what i was reading it was supposedly because of the glue under the screen or something it needed to finish adhering or something because they made these so fast and sent them so fast customers but if thats the case i dont get why its back now after it went away. shoudl i just make an appointment at genius bar ( 10 min from the crib ) or should i call apple? thanks in advance :confused:
