="entraik, post: 23555483, member: 271895"]except I got the Jet Black 7+ and they don't have those in supply at the moment...

Please guys, stop feeding this troll!! If this was just a hissing issue then he had options to just return it or a get refund. It's laughable that he had gone to a point of making it a recall, while unnecessarily pointing out every flaws the iPhone could possibly have, making mocking remarks while he's at it, and when it couldn't get possibly worst he mentioned Samsung!! Wow, trolling at its finest!!

Apparently he has the jet black +

So he's like, totally legit

You need to give up on Apple products...this is your second thread complaining about the 7 plus the thread complaining about the 6.

You are not happy with the product maybe its time for you to try a Samsung

I was actually extremely happy with my Note7 but returned it due to the recall. And purchased a iPhone 7 plus because I've been happy with Apple in the past (although lately, they've been declining imo)...but this year, their product is lackluster...

Oh snap

That's your hand

Gotcha

Still over dramatic and I didn't wanna quote you because I figure you were done with me and blocked my a** anyways

if you enjoy turning everything into a conspiracy theory, sure... we can call that Tupac's hand.

I thought I had a perfect phone, until I heard the hissing. There should be a RECALL immediately! I wouldn't care if it was just a subtle sound you could only hear if you put ur ear to the back. However, this sound gets recorded into any video taken and is LOUD and obnoxious. It sounds like metal crickets/static in the top portion of the back of my phone.. probably an issue with the Intel chip or the new speaker placement.. It literally kills the video taking ability because the sound is riddled with nasty garbage noise... This is a design flaw and Apple screwed up big time. On top of this other people have countless other issues like bad screens, etc. Fortunately I got lucky there.. My brother and every other person I know with a iPhone 7 or 7 Plus have this hissing/static noise issue, along with countless message board posts saying the same thing. I'm returning my phone and waiting for Apple to address this, or I'm going back to the Note 7 as they've fixed the battery issue. They've released a broken product this year. There is no fanboyism here, just realism...

I'm guessing that since you have threatened to go back to The Note 7 that you had one before? I'm sorry If you're experience with owning a Note 7 has left you paranoid. But with any new product some defects are generally expected at the beginning of production... and they usually do not require a recall. I'm sure that if there is a problem with your iPhone that Apple would be more than happy to exchange it for you. It's usually easy to think that something is a much bigger problem than it is because the people who have the problem arr a lot more vocal about it than the people who don't have the problem... and I promise you. If Apple finds a serious problem with the iPhone 7 their initial reaction will not be to suggesting issuing a software update that prevents the battery from charging past 60% like was the case with Samsung.... all I'm saying is don't worry Apple is not Samsung.

Also Apple has acknowledged some iOS 10 software bugs. They have 10.1 in beta and 10.0.2 on the way... so worry not. Another difference with Apple is that they have a very high adoption rate of new software... So there are a lot more people to find bugs when they first release something major like iOS 10. I'm not sure what the reason is but statistically android users are less likely to update software, so there are generally a lot less people complaining about bugs when the new release comes out...

So there's really no need to associate your bad note 7 / android experience with apple... they are generally pretty good about addressing major problems... and if you have a defective item just go exchange it they won't give you any problem.... other than you might run into supply issues... but that's just part of the game when you choose to adopt a brand-new item that is so popular.

This is still not how recalls work.
Idk, a metallic hissing sound coming from the internals all day feels a bit disconcerting. More investigation should be done to confirm..

completely serious. I think it's easy to dismiss threads as 'troll threads' because it doesn't fit in line with your perfect fruity apple world as you used to know it

Nope. That's not the reason I said you were a troll. It's because you are being so over the top dramatic, it's hard for people to take you serious. Stop acting like a 16 year old and show a bit of respect to people, and you'll probably get some back in turn.

I dunno; best iPhone I've ever owned - (I think this is my 5th).

I don't think there's a recall required, but they should replace phones that are hissing free of charge. If only they had supply....

You're being over-dramatic and a bit crazy. Chill out; it's still the best phone on the market.

Haven't received my 7+ yet, but my 6+ has a hissing noise when pressing my ear against the back of the phone when opening a gaming app or camera. But not loud enough to hear it when recording.

I honestly didn't know about it till now with my 6+.

What's over the top dramatic to you may not be over the top dramatic to me. Ever think about that? It's all subjective. Your idea of how things should be is simply your worldview alone. I'm fine and dandy... just expressing some truth around here.

Reading throughout his history, it's clear he's a Samsung fanoby and an Apple hater, to the point of saying that ALL iPhone 7's are yellow screened, and to recommend people a Galaxy phone "by far".
I guess Macrumours must be paid by Samsung also because this issue is mentioned in the buyers guide overview.

Like I said before, hearing a metallic whirring sound, or a clicking inside my phone all day feels a bit disconcerting... I just don't want to deal with the possibility of another exploding phone (like the Note 7).. and Apple has def been guilty of in the past of their phones exploding as well

Your loss... knowledge is power.

Sometimes if you spend 25 seconds reading something you can save 25 minutes arguing with people. ;-)

I'll bump you up to a 7 on the entertainment meter. You're gonna have to work harder to go any higher than that.

You won.

Apple is going to make a recall.

@entraik, do you still have an issue with your iPhone? I would suggest you return this device at your earliest convenience for a replacement or full refund.
That being said, early adopted devices tend to have weird hardware issues. I experienced this myself with the iPhone 4 and recently with my Sony PS4. These issues, however, only happen to a small minority of unlucky users and does not reflect all of the produced products.

Considering you didn't really read @ajiuo's post, you seem to be trolling. We have respectfully gone through your original post (barring I usually stop reading posts after three paragraphs) and expressed actual facts that contradict your opinions. There are no cliffnotes. Please take everyone's input into consideration otherwise nobody will take you seriously.

I just think people on this forum dismiss things as trolling or get hostile when it doesn't fit their neat and tidy pre-existing view of Apple. It's sort of like religion or sports except with tech...

I read about this issue on the Verge. Immediately put my phone up to my ear. Nothing, nadda, no noise. So it must not be 100% of the phones.

You really showed us with your childish histrionics. I guess we'll really have to rethink things

Well it works both ways, because people aren't really taking my input into consideration as well.. so I guess maybe a little bias is at play here. :)
