Cool. It's not like I don't also have Backblaze, carbon copy cloner, and Time Machine so in case my laptop is stolen it's not a problem but having them full-sized allows for complete backups...Cool. It's not like you can't get 5TB externally for $100 and not even have that attached physically to your 2TB laptop in case its stolen....
Yep. She's almost always positive. If you want a sour, cynical view of technology watch other videos.Fixed that for you.
This. I have no hate for her. She has made a lot of money doing her thing. However, any time you have a tech reviewer and every product gets great reviews, there is an issue.
I read that as NotchJustine. Maybe it’ll be a channel where I hate on everything that doesn’t have a notch on it.I am starting a YouTube identity called NotJustine in which I hate everything.
No. That is most decidedly NOT how she gets pre-release Apple productsShe got it the same way that the Verge, for example, does, by having a lot of people who watch/read her reviews.
Another useless YT channel.I hope Marques Brownlee (MKBHD) gets to be invited to a MacRumors show soon. Now, that will be an interesting show.
Of course it is. Her 7M subscribers is absolutely why Apple sent her a review unit.No. That is most decidedly NOT how she gets pre-release Apple products
Yikes, I am three hours intoI got the moonlight basic level because everything else sold out before the store even opened. I love the color, it is more of a rich dark blue than a black but in certain lighting it looks black. I am not seeing as many finger prints as reported yet. This keyboard is one of the highlights. Love it. I got the 10 core coming next week I'll keep which ever works better for my needs. The notch was annoying at first, but I put on a dark wallpaper and now I don't see it at all.
I lied, the moonlight color is a total finger prince magnet. Not a fan.

And her nauseating fanboyism & unwillingness/inability to criticize Apple over anything has nothing to do with it? Ok.Of course it is. Her 7M subscribers is absolutely why Apple sent her a review unit.
Agreed. Apple have already proved they can do this with the iPad Pros. The notch needs to go.
There’s more than plenty enough space to fit the camera on the borders.
That must be why Apple sends all those review units to people with 10 subscribers. /sAnd her nauseating fanboyism & unwillingness/inability to criticize Apple over anything has nothing to do with it? Ok.
The iPad Pro bezels are at least twice as thick.Agreed. Apple have already proved they can do this with the iPad Pros.
Maybe I don’t grasp the point you’re making.I respect what she does, but I do wish she would see the flaws and not think everything is amazing, even talking about the studio display she said I love that display and there isn't any issues, she just can't ever say one thing is bad, that's why she can't be trusted for reviews
Do you realize that the iPad Pro is thicker than the lid of a MacBook Air? The thickness helps thereAgreed. Apple have already proved they can do this with the iPad Pros.
Hardware Unboxed needs more publicity, some of the best tech reviewers on YouTube.I personally favour Hardware Unboxed review, that tests a wide range of scenarios and even do cross platform as well.
They'd just buy and return the computers, which make them free, after recording their videos, just like the other YouTubers.I would love for Justine or Rene or Gruber ... someone in that cadre... to ask Tim, on video we'd get to see, about the 84 scam apps still active and stealing $100MM a year on the App Store.
Granted -- it'd be the end of their Apple access -- but it would be simply wonderful to see his face

84 scam apps still active on App Store — steal over $100 million annually
Subscription-based iOS apps have been scamming users for over a yearwww.laptopmag.com
Apple access? LOL .,They'd just buy and return the computer like all the other YouTubers.
Whether or not she has "Apple access" is mostly irrelevant to her being profitable as a tech reviewer.
She reviews Apple products for YouTube, she isn't an investigative journalist for CNN.Perfect! -- then no risk or concern at all
I'd love for her to shock Tim in an interview with an actually pointed question about any of the myriad of issues surrounding Apple.
Well maybe if you build an audience by creating content, instead of complaining about the content other people make, you can try embarrass a CEO. It sounds something you're very interested in.Perfect! -- then no risk or concern at all
