Yankees Have berkman coming deal just has to wait 24 hrs for his no trade clause or something like that but everyone is saying its a done deal and he was out of the Astro's line up as well.
Do we really need him. I would rather the rotating then a glorified one. We need bullpen help not a DH.

Lol. Is Berkman really necessary? I mean, yeah he will boost the Yankees somewhat... but it really wasn't necessary.

He basically replaced Nick Johnson.

Yankees reportedly getting OF Austin Kearns from Cleveland for a player to be named later.

If the Tigers blow this game they should be thrown out of the league.

Is Austin Kearns necessary???

i was wondering that to but I'm wondering if its part of something else I dunno.

We should have traded to get Matsui back. :p

Seriously, we need bullpen help. Sure, we need someone to replace Cashman's idiotic mistake of Nick Johnson, but it isn't like the team is struggling without a set DH. The bullpen is where we need help. But, typical yankees in that they try to get bats to overcome their POS pitching then to actually improve their pitching.......

All of Cashman's moves this year has turned out to be failures. Park, Johnson, Gaudin, and Granderson( though he is finally starting to hit) have been POS's.

Yankees now acquired Kerry wood great move if he stays healthy the rest of the year.

great move trading for a guy with a 6.30 ERA and 1.60 WHIP

glad theo did jack **** to help the sox. way to just give up on this season. see you guys next year.. time to start getting ready for the bruins!

Phils come back:cool:. Then in comes Lidge:eek: He serves up a meatball to Zimmerman, guess what.Nats win with a walkoff:mad:. I can not watch the 9th inning any freak'n more:eek:

Dear God another Umpire fail during the Yankees game MLB needs to do either get rid of 90 pecent of these morons or add instant replay asap.

Being a Rockies fan is like riding a roller coaster. Up, down, win, lose. Heck of a last few games. 12-run innings, walk off homers for cycles, rib-crushing, game-saving catches in center field. This has been a fun season.

I'm so glad we didn't make any trades yesterday.

It would be nice if the Red Sox could play a clean game without hitting anyone.

also would be nice if we can score some runs against the Jays They usually pound these guys.

Well A-Rod's numbers are tainted and always will be. It is a part of the game now.

still I mean atleast A-rod has admiting I'm more of a person who gives a person a second chance especailly if the come out and admit it but you cant just nitpick one player if your doing to Just him do it with Bonds McGwire and everyone else which he does not have a single article about which i can find. actaully looking at his past article's he's just been a flat out A-Rod Hater.

A-Rod had a chance to bring the home run record back to glory and do it clean, he chose not too. He will have to live with the criticism. While 600 home runs is still a great accomplishment it is not as big a deal as it was 20 years ago considering 3 of the 7 members on the list used steroids at some point.

Youk is done for the year :) couldnt come at a better time to just what the Yanks need to get a lil more breathing space this weekend :)

if this team would have actually stayed healthy, they would have been damn good this year. guess it just wasnt meant to be.

horrible call costs marlins the game

i'm shocked the talk radio people aren't talking about this call like they did the blown perfect game by jim joyce. i watched it live, and with a man on second, the marlins hit a fair ball that would have won them the game via walkoff, but it was called foul by bob davidson. they don't score, and they end up losing the game due to the blown call. this is way worse than joyce, as this costs the fish a game in the standings (and my braves an extra game ahead of the phillies). i say this is a much better argument for instant replay than the perfect game blown, as the tigers won that game. so why isn't anyone talking about it? is it because it was the marlins?
