This happened to me. My iPad was being delayed until 21st March yet in my account it still showed 16th March. I then called Apple and they confirmed a note had been added to my order saying it will be delayed

Now going to queue at an Apple store on Friday.

Its a pain innit! I would love to queue but I am flying to England on thursday morning and wont be hope the following wednesday 21st so it would be nice to have the iPad waiting for me at home.

These guys are lined up outside the London Apple Store. Um, I'm from the US but I'm pretty sure you guys that preordered are going to get yours before these n00bs.

I would imagine these fellas are hoping for some publicity and the one first in line probably hope that the Apple store will give the first customer a free iPad.

Still processing my 64 gb AT&T I placed the order within 30 minutes of preorders going live

My 64 gb Verizon that I ordered Friday morning, however, is in the preparing stage

This happens every time! I ordered mine soon after pre-orders and is still showing as processing. (While my case is already on its way direct from China.)

The reason is the inventory principle FILO: First in, last out. Happens every time! I always pre-order early and don't getting shipping notification until late. (A few times I got shipping notification only to never have the tracking number show information, but they assured me it would be here on time and it was.)

Yeah, same here. The tracking code Apple provided has 10 numbers but the TNT tracking page mentions there should be 9. So what gives?

Has anyone managed to successfully track their package on the TNT website?

Ordered at midnight on launch day and have had an email from apple saying it'll be here on the 13th?!

Not sure I'm 100% convinced but certainly cool if so!

Lucky you - I ordered 6 hours before you (8am) on the 8th, yet my delivery delayed until 21st when I'll be away. Rang , they said the delays were determined strictly by the time the order was placed .... your post tells me they're telling porkies!!

Mines With TNT and I have a 10 digit code. I cant get tracking info either. Think others are finding the same.

Very annoyed the tnt tracking numbers don't wok and that the additional tracking numbers all seems to be other customers items from 2011, that is a breach of data protection, sort it out TNT, why apple use them is beyond me. Oh and my iPad which tnt are hiding somewhere isa White 64gb wifi and 4G

I think trying to track your package through TNT is not going to work. Likely our iPads have merely been assigned a tracking number and are still being held in some logistics/fulfilment depot, possibly in the UK. In the next 1-2 days pallets will be collected by TNT and distributed through their network to relevant local depots - then we'll be able to track them. A final delivery embargo of March 16th will have been arranged but possibly a small handful of people will accidentally get there iPad's on Thursday as some will slip through the net, but that will be purely an error on the local couriers part.

Why not just go to a pc world or john lewis for 8am on release day, they will have some.

I got shipment confirmation email and text from apple with a delivery date of on or before the 13.03.2012.. I have been unable to track this tho as the courier is TNT..pre-ordered at midnight after launch - 32GB Blk 4G + wifi..I hope i get it early though as per delivery email

We dont all have the luxury of being able to do that, it would be nice but i live in the countryside, 60 miles from the nearest big store. And i dont have the time to do that. I dont mind waiting, everything is slow out here.......we are all chilled

Anyone who has it saying shipped with ups able to use their tracking number on their site and it come up with some tracking info? mine just says not available.
