this cannot be right but my TNT tracking number works but the tracking information says order already delivered?

Consignment: Delivered

if it has been delivered its not meant to be going to blackpool its meant to be going to London, im hoping this changes on Monday.

Its showing up the wrong order obviously if you look at the dates on it, november 2011, you havent read it properly.

Looking at the dates involved, I'd say it was a previously used tracking number that has been recycled.

Lucky you - I ordered 6 hours before you (8am) on the 8th, yet my delivery delayed until 21st when I'll be away. Rang :apple:, they said the delays were determined strictly by the time the order was placed .... your post tells me they're telling porkies!!

I am hearing a lot of delays for Scotland though

When I spoke to Apple the ones on that are being delivered on 16th are shipped from UK. All the other ones are coming from China. So it really should not take a week to get here. Apple only sent my iPhone 4S the night before. I wonder why they are sending the new iPad so early.

They're recycling tracking numbers (very common practice, UPS does it too). It will be corrected when there's an update for you.

We should only hope they don't give specific instructions to the couriers "not to" deliver them before 16th.

Agreed, I know it's been said many times on this thread but these packages have not been scanned anywhere that is why you can't track them and why some see old information. When UPS/TNT/whoever actually pick it up from the distribution centre the tracking numbers will start working.

Why are people anxious? I mean, I want my iPad and all that but aren't people just whipping themselves up - maybe some perspective is required?

If you're item says shipped just be happy that you're going to receive it on Friday, unless something goes amiss in the delivery network. Also, although it says shipped it's likely that it hasn't physically moved from the warehouse floor where they stickered it with the tracking number. I would't be surprised if the advance ordered iPads were already in the UK spread over several logistic and fulfilment companies - hence the random nature of the "shipped" notification and assigned delivery company. Come Monday / Tuesday they'll get collected by the relevant courier and bang, that's when you're tracking number will start to mean something. They'll also be a delivery embargo of the 16th so they'll sit in your local delivery depot for a night or two and come Friday you'll all be happy - although I'm sure we'll read about a handful of day early deliveries as the local delivery depots will accidentally let some slip through.

I'm TNT, and i have a Tracking Number and a Other order number or something like that. Enter tracking number on TNT and its not found, enter the other and it finds some package delivered in Liverpool back at the start of November.

Any idea which number we actually do use when our statuses get updated by TNT?

Mines exactly the same.

TNT and UPS are most certainly working together as my tracking number works on BOTH sites, and BOTH have a November 2011 delivery on them.

If its anything like previous iPad release shipments, they give instructions to the couriers not to deliver until a set date. Although when the iPad 1 came out I got mine a day early from UPS.

See if they give you any info on the syncreon site. It may be that although they are going to give it to TNT they haven't yet, and you'll be able to see something there. (Or maybe some other firm handled your sorting, and it won't show up there)

I placed a order on the 8 March, early morning, for the iPad 3 64GB, to my place in Aberdeen, Scotland, and it is still being processed ;) hopefully the status moves on.

The Syncreon tracking page shows my iPad having shipped on 10th March and is currently at Hinkley GB

The Syncreon and TNT page don't work for me. What did you put in as sales number? Your normal order number (On the Syncreon page)?

First box is the 10 digit number beginning with 8, second box is 10 digit "additional order number" starting with 7
