The New iPad Pre-Order Status Thread (UK) - All Models

Just used my tracking numbers from my order and my iPad gen 3 64gb wifi plus cover have arrived in the UK, Hinkley, where I guess they will sit until Thursday.

Yeah I was planning on phoning on Friday (like everyone else will be!) to try and get an idea of a delivery time if possible and then explain the situation. I'm aware of the time it takes with other couriers (like the 24hrs for RM!) so was expecting to have to make the trip on Saturday.

Is that with TNT or someone else?
My TNT search still returns no results.

That's probably with Syncreon.

As I have stated before, and as other people have, TNT tracking will not work until later in the week. TNT haven't got the shipment in their possession yet.

I wouldn't bother asking for an ETA, very few couriers (DPD will) will provide this information.
 
Just phoned up Apple customer service about my payment, and the kind lady said its going through and the payment has been accepted. :D

I asked about my UPS Tracking code, and the lady said they will not be working until the 16th. So it should be here on the 16th and I can check in the morning. :)

How did you manage to track your order?
both TNT and Syncreon both so me no results
 
Money taken from my credit card on the 10th. Syncreon are the couriers, it's currently in Hinckley, Apple order status says to be delivered on the 16th (subject to change.)

I have a workshop to go to on the 16th that was originally 2-4pm. Now it's going to be extended from 12.30 onwards. Crap. But a least my fiance will be home to receive my ipad if it doesn't come before I leave. Though I will not be wanting to be sitting somewhere else with my new shiny at home waiting for me, that's for sure. I'll be gnawing the room's doorknob off, trying to get out. ;)
 
iPad Wi-Fi 64GB ordered 8 March, shipped 10 March for delivery to Glasgow on 16 March by TNT.

Cash not taken from card and tracking not yet available.

Invoice shows Serial Number of the unit.
 
Tracking shows my iPad sitting in Ontario, CA, about two hours from me. The money has all been charged to my card.

It will get here when it gets here, which is supposed to be Friday. I have absolutely no expectation of it getting here early.

Are you putting in the right numbers? It took me a couple of goes to figure it out....'tracking number' goes in the first box and 'additional order number' goes in the second box that appears after you fill in the first.
 
Some good news - and probably one of the few benefits of buying AppleCare :) - the good people of Syncreon have registered my protection and sent me the certificate with the iPad serial number on it. So I know my iPad exists and is actually ready for delivery ... happy days!

you can also get your ipad's serial number from the online invoice :D

Don't worry, mine neither. Nor does it find anything on the syncreon website.

A shame the ApeCode website isn't around anymore. Used to be fun tracking orders from China to Holland and then over to the UK.
 
UPS orders need a number starting 1ZW to track, you can get teh full one from apples sutomated customer services.

Still wont show anything mind as its not active until Thursday

Thanks again - I've just realised that I haven't looked at my support profile since I added my MBP in 2008. A whole bunch of stuff in there some of which I don't have anymore :)
