but the money reserved from my first failed order is still unavailable. anyone else with this problem?

Yes but i received an email from apple confirming this yesterday:

No charges on my AMEX yet...
Annoyed and concerned. E-mailed Apple yesterday (couldn't get through on phone) so they should reply at some point today....

depends on the courier and his journey. If your the furthest out of all his parcels, you'll be first. If you closer to his depot... good chance you could be last.

Just depends on his route and what else he has to deliver and if there's any time slot commitments on his packages.
 
My money was taken last friday. Still cant track the TNT order no tho.

Money taken yesterday. Not expecting TNT to start tracking until Thursday at the earliest when they'll likely begin scanning.

Patience everyone - it's only 3 days (better than 3 weeks) :)
 
I don't often get deliveries from TNT so got a question for anyone who's dealt with them before.

I've got my delivery coming to the office, hopefully on Friday, but we close at lunch time on a Friday (possibly some overtime if its not here by 12).

So supposing I miss delivery on Friday, I'll also not get a card to from the courier, so could I pick it up from the depot with just my shipment notification? I wouldn't normally drive back over here at the weekend but I think this is a special occasion when I'd just have to! :D

You'll have to call the depot and ask. I have done this in the past with TNT but I had to speak with a manager. You may not be able to get it on the Friday evening as it takes some amount of time after the drivers return to scan all the packages back in.

I would ring on Friday morning once it says "out for delivery" and check with them.
