The New iPad Pre-Order Status Thread (UK) - All Models

I think confusion is reigning here and most of us will only be certain when Friday has come and gone.
Mine says it shipped 10/03 and delivers 16/03. The tracking page reflects that too, for delivery by UPS. The automated Apple service also confirms this, although the UPS track reference given does not exist. Furthermore no money has been taken out of my Visa account.
 
Guys, what do you have to do get the 'different' TNT tracking number? I've tried phoning Apple and speaking to that weird automated message, but whatever I say I can't get her to give me a tracking number.

I know even the new ones don't work now but it'll be nice to have :)

you have your tnt tracking number already, the 10 digit one.
 
I no its not really relevant in this thread but i just got myself a leather smart cover off www.littlewoods.com for £55 because they are offering £20 off any order over £50 and you obviously pay it weekly if you like.

Be careful, Littlewoods are known to revoke vouchers that have not been sent to you personally. It states they can in their Terms and Conditions. So you could end up paying £75 for it a few months down the line.

Apple normally take the money only after it has been dispatched to the customer. Sometimes the process takes a few days. My previous Iphone 4S pre-order took 2 weeks before money was taken from my credit card. Just sit back and relax, I am confident you will get it by Friday 16th if you have received the notification email unless some drastic weather changes. UPS and TNT have served me well with my previous apple orders. :cool:

I shall keep a close eye on that.
I think its being offered on their home page so could be good.
nice to have a leather case instead of a poly one to be honest.
 
Hmm I've ordered a black 16gb wifi model with engraving. the status is still deliver 16march and processing. I haven't receive any email yet. What do you think is happening? =/ Am i able to get my ipad by 16march? =/

Leeds, that won't be the problem. I ordered a new ATV and a new smart cover so god knows why it has slipped. I'm not overly bother, already have an iPad 2 so not like it's my first iPad.

But still........

But Littlewoods are charging £75 for something Apple charge £59 for. So you saved £4, not £20.
