The New iPad Pre-Order Status Thread (UK) - All Models

It won't come today. Most likely vanloads are just leaving the distribution centres bound for the final courier's regional depots tonight ready for tomorrow. There may be a new tracking number at some point today though.

Sorry did you miss my point? MOST people will be working today since it is not supposed to come till tomorrow. So if it comes today they will get carded and could mean having to wait till Monday since sometimes they do not allow to rearrange for next day if late in the day.

Same here.

I'm not after checking if there's a chance of it being delivered early for the fact of having it, only so I know that it will arrive tomorrow on launch day while
I'm working from home instead of at the office today.

I'm sure all will be fine though. Still, tracking info the day before said delivery isn't too much to ask.

Exactly, I do not get why so many people are hoping it comes early, unless all jobless.

I have had to take a day off work tomorrow, if it comes today I will not be pleased.

Interestingly mine no longer has a delivery date via the apple store. It just quotes shipped on 10th.

Edit: if i follow the track my package it says estimated delivery 13th, missed that first time.

Ive got the 13th as well, which is what the syncreon site says.

I think a few have slipped through you know and i think they arent showing on the UKmail site as the 'bulk' isnt meant to be entered till tongiht

On the Syncreon site mine now says 'Out For Delivery'

although it also says estimated delivery 13th

Syncreon has updated, mines out for delivery-however, I'm at work....:mad:

I guess this could be the pre Friday updates? I hope it doesn't come today...

I agree! Tried every possible number and apparently 'nothing is found'...the day before delivery we should have loads of tracking info! Not impressed at all.

So..the whole preorder malarky was diabolical. Then the lack of information regarding a £399 through transit and now tracking which basically is telling me they haven't got my parcel..which comes across as though it's lost. I was very dis-heartened when i found out mine was coming by TNT..ive tried every courier and UPS/DHL are clearly the best.

Meant to be excited but overall the whole scenario has been a bit of a mess and left me feeling rather irritated.

Also, if it is lost..there is no way in hell im waiting till the next batch comes in, in April..they'll have to source me an Ipad from anywhere in the UK..thats a terrible service if true.
 
As of 07.27 this morning Syncreon in Hinckley have mine as 'out for delivery'. Syncreon = UK Mail doesn't it? Anyone know if they allow collection from depot on a Saturday morning?

I think this evening all the tracking systems will go live mine is through UPS and none of the tracking numbers work whatsoever but that does not mean it won't be delivered tomorrow.

Very possibly, although it is worth noting that people were saying the same thing the day before release date of the original iPad.

Even after about 9am, when I and many other people were able to read those comments on our newly delivered iPads.

This time I'm with TNT. I think we can be fairly confident that it isn't going to be here until tomorrow but you Syncreon guys may be in luck.
