So, the defending champions and odds-on favourites get their finals underway in half an hour's time anyone wanting to hazard a prediction for tonight's game?

Seen most of the favourites now.... Just Spain left to impress, as IMHO the rest not really could.
It's a mediocre start/win, but what's Portuguese for doughnut? Ronaldo even has Brazil's president commenting on it.
Fastest I saw him run all evening actually, the only time I think I saw him run all evening was when he was leaving the pitch when he got substituted. I can only think he had an especially delicious cake waiting for him in the changing rooms, given his uncharacteristic turn of pace...xsedrinam said:

The Oz comeback was a pleasant surprise for me, and the Trinidad & Tobago game was another one - Sweden should have destroyed them. For me, that was the most enjoyable game to watch, especially at the end when the Swedes simply could not get anything past Shaka Hislop.

The Croatia - Australia match will be a cracker. Looks dangerous for the Aussies. Extra interest with Croatia players born in Australia and vice versa.
Well Ukraine vs Spain is about to begin. I'm really hoping that the Ukrainians win! We'll see if Shevchenko's knee holds out.

Same here. That's the only game so far that has got me shouting at my television (apart from the first half of the England game).
Spain looking good, with 2 quick goals so far.
I'm still sticking with my Netherlands pick in the other poll, but it's good to have some entertaining football on.
