It would be so harsh if you drop out of the competietion because you drew the shortest straw. 😀
Be better to have a penalty shootout between the two. Fill up another stadium for about 10 minutes of play. 😉

Isn't d, e and f the same?

Edit: Ah, it makes a difference if there are three teams or more in this situation.

I'm not sure, but I think I remember there being a head to head comparison between c) and d). Might be an error on my side.

I'm going for the Ghana–USA game to finish one all, and Italy to beat the Czechs 1-0.

I'd love for the Italy game to end up that way, but USA need (but I think it won't happen) to beat Ghana to take advantage of it.

Agreed on the Italy result. They'll do what they usually do, just enough to get a victory then sit back and defend. The other game could go either way, but I'm betting on 2 - 1 to Ghana.

I'd like to see an African team in the next round. Nothing against the USA, but they are currently in the way of that happening.

I agree. If the USA beats Ghana, fine, that's makes their case a bit better, but a team should not advance to the Round of 16 if they haven't even scored a goal themselves throughout the entire tournament. 😎

Edit: Kay, there's one goal for the USA - and they scored it on their own this time! 😛 😀
 
Woah, scary. The USA can actually find the back of the net. I'd got it into my head they kept thinking they were going for field goals 🙂

Ooh 2 - 1 to Ghana. Hotting up in Nuremberg isn't it...
