Actually, from the opening post...
So to get back on topic, I reckon the Premier League title will go to Torquay United this season.
It looks like after all it could be McLeish. I must admit I'm surprised. Of course the 2 (Club and International) are totally different types of management, and maybe he didn't enjoy not running it day-to-day. However, IMHO and simply in terms of job stature, Scotland > Birmingham. Sorry Scott.

I also think he will find success with Birmingham more difficult to attain... there's a distinct possibility he may have hitched a ride to the Championship.
I totally agree, managing your country has to be the ultimate job, and we are not what you could class as a big team, but at 10:30 tomorrow when the board announce him as our new manager I'll be pinching myself to make sure I'm not dreaming. I listen to World Soccer Daily, hosted by several UK expats and broadcast from California. They generally focus on the Premier league, but talk about everything else as well. Good show.

and there you have it... Our new manager. Interesting to hear what David Gold had to say about the buy-out. I believe that, if the buy out does not go ahead David and Ralf Gold will buy out David Sullivan. And that I feel would be a good thing. Sullivan was the saviour of the Blues in 1993 but feel he's losing the passion over the last few years, but will be remembered as the man who saved the Blues and brought Karen Brady to the club, and she is an amazing MD.
