There was an article this AM that Rafa's expecting to leave at the summer (and is tipping Klinsi to replace him).

People are also still talking about Mourinho...I think it's all still just talk.

Yes indeed Liverpool were very poor.

I don't think Crouch did too much more than Kuyt to be honest, but he did score and so I'll won't say anything more.

He had fewer chances according to the match reports but provided some good service to the useless Kuyt. To be fair Voronin manufactured Crouch's goal but at least the lanky Striker knew how to finish - something Kuyt just cannot do, despite all his running around.

So the draw is about to kick off for the 4th round of the all new Dave Kitson Cup, named after the player it really does mean the most to.

Could be good... All the lower league teams will be looking to avoid Chelsea, with only around 372 people bound to turn up at Stamford Bridge, because it looks like rain. Huddersfield manager Andy Ritchie declared this morning "We could make more money having a bake sale!"

Well, the draw for the fourth round has been made and is as follows – teams from Teh Greatest League In Teh World™ are in bold...

Arsenal vs Stoke City or Newcastle United
Coventry City vs Walsall or Millwall
Oldham Athletic vs Huddersfield Town
Wigan Athletic vs Chelsea
Swindon Town or Barnet vs Fulham or Bristol Rovers
Luton Town or Liverpool vs Swansea City or Havant & Waterlooville
Southend vs Barnsley
Southampton vs Norwich City or Bury
Manchester United vs Tottenham Hotspur or Reading
Portsmouth vs Plymouth Argyle
Derby County or Sheffield Wednesday vs Preston North End
Watford vs Wolverhampton Wanderers
Peterborough United vs Charlton Athletic or West Bromwich Albion
Sheffield United vs West Ham United or Manchester City
Mansfield Town vs Middlesbrough
Tranmere Rovers or Hereford United vs Cardiff City

Ties to be played on 26 and 27 January, blah blah blah.

No word yet on what Dave Kitson makes of it all. :D

Poor draw, if you ask me.
Depend on your point of view. There are a few all Premier League or potentially all Premier League ties (after replays) in there, so quite a few of the top flight clubs won't be seeing the next round – five at least. ;)

Huddersfield Town gaffer Andy Ritche has said hes pressing on with plans for that money spinning bake sale, in light of their draw.
Fantastic news. His gingerbread men are stuff of legend. :)

I suppose your right, there are more 'Banana Skin' ties to be had out of the replays though. Liverpoor Vs. Havant & Waterlooville could be a belting tie, more likely to be Luton Vs. Swansea mind...

Oldham vs Huddersfield is interesting, as Huddersfield manager Andy Ritchie is pretty much a legend at Oldham, having been their talismanic striker during a few good years back in the 90's

Liverpool need a good defender, let's hope this works.

Bolton seem pretty intent on keeping Anelka, but is seems he wants to go.

The Slovak chap seems to be good business. Guess they're going to slot him in for Hyypia (gives us three solid central defenders - Agger, Carra, him). Might mean that Carra will have to play some time on the right, which he can certainly do.

I'd much rather they get Anelka than Villa (who they seem obsessed with).

Aside for a native speaker of the Queen's English: Is Chav too rude of a term to be used in this forum? A friend told me it is roughly equivalent to Redneck (is that correct?)

No problem with that at all, it's used quite often in fact – mind, I wouldn't go calling another poster it as that would probably be crossing the line and could earn you a reprimand from a mod. ;)

Good to know. I didn't even know what it meant for quite some time.

Luckily, I asked before using it outside of my fellow Red fan company. I was talking to one of the higher-ups at my last job about Football (he's from Colombia) and we moved quickly to the Premiership. I asked who he supported and when he said Chelsea I almost said "***** chavs" just purely out of reflex.

Glad I didn't - getting sacked for something that stupid would not have been good.

Well the Sheff Utd and man Utd games will be on telly, maybe then the mighty Boro??? Knowing the beeb, probably not.:(

Traditionally they like to show a potential giant-killing match... so if either Stoke or Havant & Waterlooville make it through their replays then they might get their fourth round tie aired.

If not, then I guess the Boro' match would maybe appeal to the schedulers. We'll see.

~tale of near sacking~
No, I wouldn't go calling your superior such names. Might not go down to well. ;)

Mind, I wouldn't use the word to describe Chelsea to be honest. Gillingham certainly, but Chelsea? No.

The problem with those matches are that they're all away ties for the underdogs. I'd rather see a Stoke City-esque game (huge crowd, poor conditions, unknown pitch) than a game at Anfield or Old Trafford.
