The wheels have definitely come off. I wonder the reaction if they fail to win the FA cup too.

So, all-English final or will Milan be too strong at home?

I really hope Milan can **** United off, but I don't see it happening really, sadly. Out of Man U and Liverpool in the final.. I don't know, very tight. Would be rooting for Liverpool all the way though.

I'd probably be rooting for Liverpool too but it's a difficult one to call. Man Utd have shown to be pretty destructive on a few occasions this season but Liverpool have the experience and maturity. I'd put a bet on Rooney getting sent off in the final. ;)

May have to get up early and actually watch the Milan game tomorrow morning.

I'm pumped about the win - on to Athens!

As far as tomorrow's game goes, I don't really want to see an Italian club in the final due to all the turmoil their footbal program is in right now. At the same time I can't say I'd be happy to see Man U make it to the final. So I'm rather neutral on tomorrow's result, with a slight lean towards Man U - just make it a close game and I'm happy.

Remind us what Chelsea are actually still playing for Jose? ;)

The League and the FA Cup? Not forgetting they've already won the League Cup, of course.

Anyway, I couldn't decide who I wanted to win last night, I love to hear Moaninho, well, moaning but I can't take Liverpoor fans and their 5 European Cup wins, 6 would kill me.

Anyway, it'll be a close game 2nite, but I can see United coming out on top, then it being a hell of a final. 2 English teams kind of takes the shine off the occasion for me, but there you go.

The League...

Only barring some disaster for Man Utd is that going to happen.

Yes on the former and...well....who cares on the latter. We all know that's the wooden spoon of the four.

More so than the mega-smug fans of the mega-smug Chelski after winnning their first one? Not a chance.

See, I’m going for Liverpool because I think it’ll be better for the top prizes to be shared around a bit, what with Man Utd and Chelsea having the league and domestic cups wrapped up between them. There’s also the fact that there are more Manchester United fans around here than Liverpool ones, so I’ve got less first-hand smugness to deal with if the scousers lift the trophy. :D

I'm going to have to go with Man U I'm afraid. Not that I particularly like them, but I find it rather difficult to root for a Scouser team when Manchester are represented. Sorry

That's alright... at the end of the day, they're all Premier League teams so no matter who wins there'll be an unbearable stench of smugness radiating from somewhere in the North West – assuming of course Milan don't sneak in there. ;)

Bloody Manc. :p ;)

Ok so I didn't get up for it, but certainly did not see that result coming. Was it as one-sided as it suggested?

Should be an awesome final.

Yeah it was very poor from Manure. But Im not complaining. Guess we saw how good Ronaldo is.

'I don't care what he says, I don't listen,' Parry said. 'I guess when you've invested £500million, it's a fantastic season to win the League Cup. He's welcome to his opinions, we care about Liverpool.'

Hehe:cool:

Atleast Sir Alex admitted his team were not the best.

Man Utds Shortcomings

As apposed to Mourinho.

Ferguson's definitely a better sport in that sense. I think the Premier League thing was just a bit of frustration eeking out and having gone out of the semi-finals after such promise it was a shame. However, as they're increasingly wont to do, the BBC have put what must be their ex-Sun sports editor in charge of the report so the headline: Ferguson attacks Premier League is a bit sensationalist.

Yes, it really was that one-sided. Man U really never got anything going. I'm also wishing I could see Kaka on TV here more often because he's pretty amazing.

So now it's a rematch of the finals two years ago, right? How often do these finals rematches live up to expectations?

Disappointed. However, not totally.

They were good, very good. We were poor, but in all honesty not as poor as they made us look.

However, not totally gutted, because now we don't run the risk of getting beat off Liverpool in the final, and somehow I can't see that happening to Milan this year.
