I'd tip Manchester United to squeeze past Milan, but out of the two I'd go with Liverpool to clinch the trophy. So, all-English final or will Milan be too strong at home?

The wheels have definitely come off. I wonder the reaction if they fail to win the FA cup too.

I really hope Milan can **** United off, but I don't see it happening really, sadly. Out of Man U and Liverpool in the final.. I don't know, very tight. Would be rooting for Liverpool all the way though.
Remind us what Chelsea are actually still playing for Jose?![]()
The League...
and the FA Cup? Not forgetting they've already won the League Cup, of course.
I can't take Liverpoor fans and their 5 European Cup wins, 6 would kill me.
See, Im going for Liverpool because I think itll be better for the top prizes to be shared around a bit, what with Man Utd and Chelsea having the league and domestic cups wrapped up between them. Theres also the fact that there are more Manchester United fans around here than Liverpool ones, so Ive got less first-hand smugness to deal with if the scousers lift the trophy.More so than the mega-smug fans of the mega-smug Chelski after winnning their first one? Not a chance.
I'm going to have to go with Man U I'm afraid. Not that I particularly like them, but I find it rather difficult to root for a Scouser team when Manchester are represented. That's alright... at the end of the day, they're all Premier League teams so no matter who wins there'll be an unbearable stench of smugness radiating from somewhere in the North West assuming of course Milan don't sneak in there.I'm going to have to go with Man U I'm afraid. Bloody Manc.Sorry![]()
Ok so I didn't get up for it, but certainly did not see that result coming. Was it as one-sided as it suggested?
Should be an awesome final.
'I don't care what he says, I don't listen,' Parry said. 'I guess when you've invested £500million, it's a fantastic season to win the League Cup. He's welcome to his opinions, we care about Liverpool.'
If only Sir Alex shared your sentiments.Yeah it was very poor from Manure. But Im not complaining.

So now it's a rematch of the finals two years ago, right? How often do these finals rematches live up to expectations?
I don't know, but AC Milan really came out to play at the San Siro; it will be interesting to see how the neutral venue effects both teams.
Well we all know how many Liverpool fans will be inside in proportion to AC.. from the 2005 final.
Not all of us know. Enlighten us.
