Yeah, and I don't want to take pictures with this thing. The camera takes only 6.5 megapixel photos.I can imagine how many valuable moments to miss in life. And then what to show or see if the result is spoiled and irretrievably lost.
Where are the stickers!? 3500 bucks, where are the apple stickers!? What should I use as a beer stand!? Unsubscribe. Dislike.

The nausea comments are making me a little nervous. I will definitely be the ultimate test of that, I get nauseous just looking at a boat. I'll let everyone know on Friday afternoon .

Have you ever experienced VR? I would imagine it is no different.

not necessarily true.
There May have been visible lag in the airplay screen capture stream, which was pointed out in some of the reviews.
That doesn’t mean the lag was replicated in the headset though.
The product was advertised almost as the 8th wonder of the world. That this is the future that has already come- work at the stove, answer the phone and play with the children and still without removing diving glasses from your face. Apple presented the Vision Pro as an augmented reality headset. And what did you get? A VR headset that disguises itself as an AR headset. Don't you feel like you've been cheated for a lot of money?
There is already an analogue of meta quest 3. There is everything - mixed, virtual reality. There is also hand control, etc. Well, it costs 500 bucks. There are also multitasking windows, you can watch movies on a wall-sized screen (for example) if you stretch it .

can't wait to see the motion sickness vomit videos
We need to wait a bit, it will be on YouTube soon :) It turns out that the exclusives for Vision Pro are porn, movies and a virtual notebook.
It remains to wait for enthusiasts to be able to launch DOOM on the external screen))))

I must be a laundry wiz because I don't understand how this is even a use-case worth mentioning. Maybe 20 minutes per week and I have 4 kids. You guys changing clothes 3 or 4 times a day?? ;)
I mean, I’ve been doing laundry during meetings, thanks to AirPods, and sometime iPhone or iPad if I needed to look at something. It’s more when the meeting would be too boring otherwise.

if ever. nothing beats real life experience.

Say that to the hundreds of millions of people who use iPhones, iPads, and Macs! 😂

LOL! No way *anyone* on this planet can do laundry for 5 or 6 people, including *4* kids, in only 20 minutes a week! 🙈

That wins the Most Over-the-Top Post award for the month! ✅

Unless, of course, other people are doing it for you! 😅

Man I was getting motion sick just watching the screen recordings in the reviews.

No joke.
That’s one hard thing about portraying VR through video. The video is more nauseating than the experience itself.

If someone reviewed some kitchen knives by strapping a GoPro to their head and showing you the video feed of them cooking, you’d get motion sick from that as well

All the reviewers sharing their screen recordings (and their shaking) was certainly less impressive than Apple's marketing. I understand that has to do with screen recording quality. I will admit the reviews did not make me even more excited for Friday. I'll keep it regardless, 14 days isn't really enough to fully find out its potential over the next couple years. Also, glad I didn't splurge for the 1T model. This Gen 1 version is for "lets just see what it can do".
Have fun! Keep us posted how it goes. I am not gonna buy one, but I am positive about AVP, as they work on making it better. iPhone launched with out an App Store, and it evolved.

the VP won’t cause nearly as much nausea as traditional headsets because of the low latency — but mirroring the screen to an iPad etc might

I bought one for store pick up on Saturday but cancelled it after watching the reviews. Will look at it again in a year or two.
LOL! Dang, you didn’t even give it a chance. You should have at least experienced it for a couple of weeks, then revisited it in a year or two.

VR can make you feel sick and nauseous.
I had the very first Occulus. I could use it for about 30 minutes and would start to feel sick. I chalked it up to the horrible resolution and refresh rate. I‘m cautiously optimistic. I have my pilots license and was able to condition myself to tolerate the motion sickness from that over time. I will not give up on the AVP quickly.
