I cancelled via Shop To
No idea of cost -couldn't take the risk.
Sony will determine my ps5 digi or X box decision.
Only drop in compute units, whatever that means is stopping me purchasing s series.
I hav 4K non hdr t.v. , I want least want decent improvement over last gen.

I will hedge my bets and pre-order both Xbox and PS5 but only keep the one which is delivered before Christmas. Demand is going to be immense because of covid travel restrictions, hardly any outdoor entertainment and dwindling supply of TV shows/movies filmed in 2020. An employee at my local Curry's said that pre-orders will clean sweep all deliveries for weeks and that there will unlikely be stock to pick up in store.
I don't want to spend a slow and cold December and January without a next gen console.

Pre-ordering the disc version no matter what. Just give me date to do so.
From what I've read I'm starting to fear we're just going to see 45 minutes of gameplay... I sure hope it's not just that. We're all craving for a price and date... (UI would also be nice)

IMHO, it will be mostly stuff we've already know or seen at the last one... Maybe another big exclusive we can already assume. Nothing new, really...

I hope I'm wrong - but I don't think that Sony has a habit of leaving money on the table...
The PS1, PS2, and PS4 all undercut their competition in price when launched. So I don't see how they have a habit initially over-pricing their products. Only the PS3 did they over price and that was mainly because of the blu-ray drive.

All in all, pretty good „show“ tonight. Oddly enough, the game that most impressed me was Hogwarts Legacy! Of course, Demon‘s Souls looks really good, too.
That Plus Collection looks like a pretty cool deal!

Great price by Sony. £449 for disc and £349 for discless.
CoD Cold War looks stunning. I'm amped. The showcase that impressed me most was for Death Loop. It looks like a super unique and visually immersive game.

Yes they did. Is backwards compatibility that important to you? After I bought a PS4 Pro I couldn't stand the graphics of my PS3 that I thought I would keep playing.
Overall I'm unimpressed by the lack of big launch titles for the next generation of consoles.
Definitely, I can’t see any compelling reason to buy either of them at the moment. Very disappointing. I might just put the money towards upgrading my PC, which is a job I’m not looking forward to since I need to keep it running MacOS.
I’ve gone from being excited about new consoles to contemplating weeks of messing with configs and kexts. Thanks for nothing, Sony and Microsoft.
