You probably would use up all your HD space if you download the same game 3 times
final fantasy 15 takes 100gb!!!! It’s insane I kind of want to try the game but defiantly don’t want to delete it and then download it again

That’s what I’m hoping for but with the way things seem maybe by late spring?
not to be a Debby downer but you haven't been able to get a nintendo switch at stores since February ..... PS5... haha good luck till after the Pandy is over
I’ve got a ps5 from amazon, tbh it looks amazing and the load times are fast but apart from that .... not massively impressed . The user interface is awful , illogical design and so hard to navigate, why change it ?
The lack of disk space is ridiculous, after downloading 6 games I’m out of space !
I recall the time I got my PS4 years ago , that really felt like a big jump from the ps3 . This doesn’t.

I don’t think Sony has ever kept an interface between generation of consoles. I remember hating the PS4 interface coming from the PS3, so I am not surprised folks don’t like the PS5 interface. My bigger gripe is the change from long press of the PS button to get to shut the system down (PS4) to a short press.
Edit: actually the PSP and PS3 shared the XMB. I was really irritated with the PS Vita interface.
I agree about the UI. It's really confusing at first. Is there a way to put your favorite games into a folder like you can with PS4? I haven't found that yet.
If I were to guess, probably mid January and on. I think the scalpers are trying to make a quick buck before Christmas, but once that subsides overall demand will decrease and people will be less willing to spend over what retail is charging
As far as I can tell they haven't implemented folders yet.
I actually really like the new PS5 menu it looks streamlined and modern

its cool it shows you how much time is left too with the mission youre on in game

Took me ages to figure out how to put it into rest mode , also the media remote is a nasty cheap piece of garbage.
Lacks any premium feel and has a really cheap matt plastic Feel to it , I’d avoid that
I bought the headphones too, they’re ok but the controls are all black on a black background.. have to take them off and put the lights on just to use them...
Wish apple would make a console and show Sony how it’s done .... maybe one day ?

They did, and it didn't go so well 
Hello everyone. I am in the market for a PS5. I used to game a lot, then stopped for sometime but now with the PS5 I am truly interested in getting back in. I, along with countless others, have been diligently searching for one but no luck yet. Target, Walmart, Best Buy, Amazon, no luck. I have been using those tracking sites as well.
I am thrilled to see people like it. I honestly haven't felt this excited in awhile.

I am on the fence whether or not to get the disc or digital version. On one hand, the digital looks cooler IMO. It's truly space age. Very slick, beautiful, like a work of art.
At the same time, I would probably sell games I'm done with, and I'm assuming this can be done with the disc version.
It was a no-brainer for me. I love buying disc-based games on sale. Just picked up Star Wars Squadrons for $17 on Amazon. I have a bunch of movies on Blu-Ray also.

plus I like collecting physical artwork and such most of the time
I think having a symmetrical design is overrated. it still looks mostly the same just an added hump and slot. doesnt ruin the look and isn't going to make you like or dislike the design any more or less imo
I did not realize I could watch Blu-Ray. Sounds very compelling, and also the games that go on sale via disc, which I totally didn't think of.
Yeah the Sony store runs sales but I often find way better discounts with physical media.
I agree with this sentiment but I can’t imagine it being much longer. Would I like it before Christmas? Of course. But realistically speaking how much longer after Christmas would we have to wait? I’m guessing a week later we’ll start seeing them around more
it also crashes for me but mostly while I’m playing. It happened 3 times so far and after that, ps5 restarts, does the db rebuild and then I can see only a blank screen. Then I have to close ps5 and restart and displays the message that an error has occurred and to send a report. Then it works fine

I bought Spider-Man miles for $30 (used) and Assassians creed new for $40.
Price saved by not buying digital is already $40. After 2 games. I beat Spider-Man. And will probably sell it for $30. Something I can’t do with digital games
on ps4 I would also buy used games for 35-45 on Craigslist or Facebook. Then sell it for the same price or $5 less. Digital is not a good way to go unless you live insanely far from people/store to trade in. Or you have multiple consoles and kids. My nephews use my digital games on the Nintendo switch. Without me having to give them the disk.
Put the PS4 games on a external drive, no reason to keep them on the SSD. Its a waste of PS5 game space.
No difference, the one bad feature is the control box limits PS5 games to 60FPS, so even though I have HDMI 2.1, 120hz OLED TV..... Best I can get is 60FPS unless I unhook the PS5 from the PSVR control box, but thats a pain to do each time.
