Purchased an iPod touch 7th Gen at Best Buy this week (I know, I know, But I love this device for the size in the gym) and what do you know, a stack of PS5’s just sitting on a shelf. I can’t speak for everywhere, but in my region, they’re floating around. I agree with what someone else said, that the PS5 shortage would probably continue if it wasn’t to the economy, or the majority of people probably don’t have an extra $550 [with tax] laying around for a console, plus the new games factored in. I don’t think the ‘hype is dying down’, I just think that it’ll be easier to find a PS5 with the economic conditions still struggling across the board, especially when you look at upgrading expensive hardware.
Oh, and the XSX is pretty much available at any tech store in my area without needing a reserve.
