Ah I'm using a Panasonic Oled tv. I already have a 4k apple tv standalone by itself anyway. But i saw the apple tv app on the ps5 and gave it a try.what OLED do you have even older LGs have Apple TV already on them. You don't need the PS5.
I've always been a fan of the R&C series. It's straight-forward, lighthearted, and great for casual gaming. They all follow the same basic formula of get weapons that blow stuff up and upgrade them as you progress through worlds. Rift Apart looks stunning and I'll be curious to see the story with two playable characters (excluding Clank). What do you fine folk think about RC: Rift Apart?

Is it best to assume that most of the PS4 -> PS5 updates will be paid? Nearly every game that I have on my XSX that has been updated to next gen was a free update. In fact, I think the only paid update to date on the XSX was Control - but only if you didn't own a specific version of the game.
I just picked up a PS5 for games like Horizon, TLoU, Days Gone, etc, and I'm having a bit of a hard time figuring out what Sony's strategy is here when it comes to updates. Can anyone shed some light on this?
I'd like to pick up Ghosts of Tsushima when it goes on sale during Days of Play - but not if I'm going to have to buy the game all over again if they were to release a PS5 version.
The FF series confuses the hell out of me.I think most are free actually
CoD Tony hawk come to mind as the ones that are paid but
there are some cases where you need the right version like Control you need Ultimate. Ff7 has to be the physical version I believe or not the free ps+ one
and some that have no path like Judgment you have to re buy.
a lot still haven’t dropped
probably fudging some stuff but I think lots / most are free

There's the FFVII Remake - Of which I don't own, nor did I get in in time to get it for free, so that would be a digital purchase - assume that update would be free. BUT, there's also FFVII INTERgrade or whatever it's called which is what? FFVII Remake + some extra mission? And that whole thing is going to be native PS5 from the get go?
See: FFXIV. A friend asked me to start playing that with him last night. What a mess that is.Square Enix likes to make you confused while you simultaneously throw money at them.

Edit: should note I bought the digital only ps5.
Oh nice - I didn't realize they were releasing a PS5 update for the original FFVII Remake. I did finally realize that once you have the PS5 version on your machine you can delete the PS4 version. When I updated FFXIV, I was left with both copies on my system. I was a little surprised the other one wasn't removed automatically.FF7R (PS5): will release next week. Free upgrade when you have a paid version of FF7R (so not for the free PS+ FF7R PS4 version)
FF7R Intergrade: will release next week: the base game + DLC (PS4/PS5)
Little edit: the DLC called InterMISSION is only for PS5.Oh nice - I didn't realize they were releasing a PS5 update for the original FFVII Remake. On a side note:Just read that the Volvo and Audi factories in Brussels have shut down due to chip-shortage, so can't imagine Sony isn't bother by that problem. On top of the metal-problem of course, one doesn't exclude the other.
Is Hi-Fi affected too by any chance? I was shopping around the last few days and noticed lots of devices (receivers, network players, etc) were out of stock. Then I went to the local high street store and the shelves were looking pretty barren too.On a side note:
General Motors pushed out my new work vehicle (2022 Chevy Tahoe) being manufactured from July now until October for the same reason. Absolutely Ludacris what’s happening in the gaming sector and automotive world.

I was hoping that there would be a deal on that game for Amazon Prime Day!Picked up a PS5 a few weeks back and been playing R&C: Rifts apart, really really enjoying the game. It's been a long time since I've had this much fun playing a game. Will be sad when it ends, then need to do decide on the next game to play until Diablo 2 Resurrected and BF 2042 are released.
