Agreed, it's weird as my Boss and myself were confused that o2 didn't show up as PAYG on our system straight away, unless o2 are wanting to keep o2 customers for PAYG to their stores only, I'm really not sure at all, but from the looks of it so far, o2 on our systems are contract only.

That's how I see it, basically you're not getting to stock O2 iPhone on PAYG.

I'm actually pleased at myself for managing to comment on Carphone Warehouse without cursing, swearing, and generally running them into the ground ... mainly because that would be unfair on you.

Not a company I am at all fond of. Their Glasgow stores are full of unhelpful, snarling, cheeky ... see there I go.

Lol ye, our internal system shows glasgow being one of the worst in the country I assure you, we aren't all like that ;).

Right. And yet where is the iPhone 4 PAYG pricing? I expect that since Orange have the iPhone 3Gs on the Apple Store that they would be expecting to have the iPhone 4 on the Apple Store, too.
not really as the current handsets are the 8gb 3g and 16/32gb 3Gs as in last years iPhones, and since pre-orders are not till tomorrow why would they have the handsets up now?

So, basically O2 are going to have to deliver radically cheaper handset prices that previously or I'm off to Vodaphone. Or someone else if even better.

I mean, these are by no means great, but roughly in line with expectations.

Very nice prices, looks like its bye bye o2 and hello Vodafone!

Are the included minutes to any network? The £35 per month 2 year contract is very similar to what I used to have on o2 (non iphone tariff).

But they ARE doing it and it looks like it includes 12 months of mobile internet and some allowance at BT Openzone too.

O2, watch out!

Yeah, but it also says you can pre-order on PAYG from June 24th ... which is the launch date. So when is the PAYG launch date is the pre-order date is June 24th?

Now that we have vodaphone's prices, I bet O2 are rushing to come up with prices now. They better have a better deal!

I don't expect that Apple would have the handsets up on their website now and I'm pretty sure I didn't say that either. My point is that Orange currently offer PAYG iPhone 3Gs' and I expect that they would want to sell the iPhone 4 on PAYG, too. As yet, they haven't clarified any details and pre-ordering starts tomorrow. That's leaving it very close!

No other company could get away with tying you in to a two year contract AND still charge you up to £189 for your handset - god bless apple and their desireability

Ah. In my excitement for a better service than O2 I didn't read that bit. Damn. Pre-ordering on June 24th? Surely it should be retail on that day!

New iPhone Tariffs updated in my spreadsheet for Vodafone.

http://bit.ly/dqmdsn

The only change from the 3GS contracts is the £70 contract for 3000mins and unlimited texts have now dropped to £65 a month. The prices for the phone and contracts are identical to what Vodafone were offering for the 3GS model.

Any special deals with this are in the right hand column. - In this case, preorder before 22nd June and Get Free Vodafone to Vodafone Calls for lifetime of contract.

Any contracts £45 or more a month will include 5MB European data Roaming.

Will be updating that spreadsheet all day as the next lot of prices come in from O2, Orange, Three etc. Just keep hitting that link above and youll automatically get the new spreadsheet.

Just got off the phone with Orange customer service and the rep (Paul) said that they would get tariff info when the pre-order is live first thing tomorrow. I asked what 'first thing' meant and he said 7am.

These things are shaky at best with who knows what, but it's the first suggestion of a solid time I've read yet.

Vodas site has now gone :(
