What's the anticipation about today then? What we expecting?

Absolutely nothing today.

The prices will be announced by the various networks around lunchtime tomorrow, when they will start taking pre-orders.

Anyone who expects anything else is heading for disappointment.

So, basically O2 are going to have to deliver radically cheaper handset prices that previously or I'm off to Vodaphone. Or someone else if even better.

I mean, these are by no means great, but roughly in line with expectations.

Phazer

Same here brother. I left Vodafone to go to O2 - unless it's better than what Vodafone are offering, I'm out.

New iPhone Tariffs updated in my spreadsheet for Vodafone.

http://bit.ly/dqmdsn

The only change from the 3GS contracts is the £70 contract for 3000mins and unlimited texts have now dropped to £65 a month. The prices for the phone and contracts are identical to what Vodafone were offering for the 3GS model.

Any special deals with this are in the right hand column. - In this case, preorder before 22nd June and Get Free Vodafone to Vodafone Calls for lifetime of contract.

Any contracts £45 or more a month will include 5MB European data Roaming.

Will be updating that spreadsheet all day as the next lot of prices come in from O2, Orange, Three etc. Just keep hitting that link above and youll automatically get the new spreadsheet.

+1 - THANK YOU :)

Do you have plans to incorporate PAYG pricing into your spreadsheet?

Yes, PAYG prices for Giffgaff and O2 Simplicity is currently in there at the moment, but these are based on 3GS prices, which I am going to say is the same as whats going to be announced if the Vodafone prices are anything to go by.

I can't remember the sign up process when I got my 3G, but if I go to the apple store on launch date, can I sign up to the contract there and then?
If so, it'll be early queuing on vodaphone with these prices.

Funny, the website link someone kindly provided said June 22nd for a June 24th delivery.

Pre-order on June 24th for PAYG, but no mention of release on PAYG.

Actually, the link said 'pre-order BY midnight on June 22nd for delivery on the 24th'. That's the cut off for delivery on release day.

One of my irritations with Vodafone is that they limit you to 1Gb of wifi with BT Openzone. I'm sure that O2 have unlimited wifi through both BT Openzone and The cloud? I spend a lot of time at public wifi hotspots.

I just wish Vodafone had Visual Voicemail, or at least would say it's coming.

+1. I use the visual voicemail feature quite often and think i'd miss it.

I just refreshed the iPhone 3G/iPhone 3GS page on the UK Apple Store site, and the 16GB 3GS has changed to "Currently Unavailable" across both O2 and Orange options.

is there a screen of Voda's tariffs for 32GB over 18 months? the poster accidentally posted the screenshot of 16GB twice.

16GB has been "Currently Unavailable" all afternoon. The 32GB is still available if you wish to order it via the Apple Store website.
