Cheers - if that is the case these prices for the UNLOCKED iPhone 4 seems very reasonable.

I would certainly assume the PAYG prices will be no more than £450. Hell, to pay just £50 more for the unlocked version seems quite attractive...

But then again if you buy a PAYG version then unlock it for £15 or so, wouldnt that seem more attractive?

carriers will probably offer unlocking for £15 though.

It Wouldnt Go To The Basket, And Now It Says Page Not Found, Wtf Apple?!?!!?

Just received my reservation email from Apple.

How does it work, anyone done one before?

Do you print out the email and take it with you to the shop on the day. There isn't reference number or anything. I'm assuming they check by email address

Have just reserved one from pickup from the apple store, on monthly contract. Not sure how that will work on actually picking a contract plan etc, but it's worth having a reservation.

Thought you couldn't pre order for contract?

I never said anything of the kind. I said they've excluded Scotland, Northern Ireland and several of the Isles from receiving orders on the date they said the phone would be delivered, which is pretty shabby. Why not just say that up-front?

No you didn't say those things, I didn't say you did. I said you're part of the "OH NO APPLE HAVE SCREWED US OVER AGAIN" brigade, who do say those things.

😉

They clearly have supply/delivery issues. It sucks but there must be good reasons for that. Just deal with it, it's just a techy toy.

So when us reserve for collection folk go pick up our phone what do we need to take with us exactly?

Is it just take your payment and yourself.

ok so anyone know how to get a micro sim now? I'm using mine with t mobile and when i called they didn't even know what a micro sim was!!

Mine seems to be stuck on the "place your order" page.

Actually, just as I wrote this it has failed to open the page!!!

Choose a plan type.
Please choose the plan you'd like from the options below (Pay and go is available with O2 and Orange only). You can change your plan type when you pick-up your iPhone at the store.

Pay & Go
Pay & Go phones are not linked to an ongoing contract, although you will need to activate your phone on the carrier's network. You simply select the iPhone of your choice and then purchase a £10 top-up.

Pay Monthly
Pay monthly phones are linked to a contract. You can purchase a new phone or upgrade, and our Specialists will help you get started straight away. You'll be making calls, surfing the web and sending email in no time.

SIM-free
iPhones can be purchased without being linked to a specific carrier or contract. Simply select the iPhone of your choice and make your purchase. See a Specialist for Personal Set-up of your new iPhone.

Reserved one 32GB from the Milton Keynes store ^^

I requested it be on a monthly contract, but if I change my mind and decide to purchase it outright, will I be able to do that?

I did the same. Reserved 2x 32GB phones on Pay Monthly. Just in case O2 dont come through. If i dont collect them, no biggy. At least i have a fall back plan.

so these aren't payg? i'm confused. i'm considering buying via apple now but need to be sure this will work with my o2 sim.
