The U.K. iPhone 4 Thread

Just realised my reservation went to my 'me' account which is now defunct and not to my gmail one.

wonder if I can call apple to get this changed and confirm my reservation has gone through.
 
Im all but convinced Apple doesnt want my money. I get to the place order screen, press it and it bounces me back and resets my basket. Genius!
 
Just orange, and they confirmed that they're not taking pre orders yet and that they've been postponed but they don't know why!
 
Can someone who managed to pre order online confirm the shipping and delivery dates plz!

i pre ordered 32gb iphone with black bumper and i got shippinh june 24 and delivery 25-28 june!!!! i am surprised
 
i've reserved a payg phone but am tempted to go for the unlocked version. I doubt it will lose it's price for quit some time. It's also very appealing to overseas buyers, especialy americans who are tied to AT&T

Well that sucked, got right through to the point where you enter your 3 digit security code, then the server dropped connection!
Nothing in my cart, have to start again!

Thinking of leaving it, I really want the white version

Do you think Apple will let the networks offer to unlock iPhone 4, if they themselves are selling the handset unlocked?

If they do let the networks unlock the PAYG handsets then Apple will make sure that the handset price + the unlock fee = the sim free cost. They are not going to let the networks undercut them.

Same here, was thinking of moving to the iPhone simplicity, but never use voicemail therefore won't miss visual vmail. Also these original simplicity tariffs give you double the mins on the rolling 30 day contract and mms from allowance.
 
All I get on every page now is "The page you're looking for can't be found.". Pretty annoying as I can't even add one to the basket.

If people are getting 28th June delivery now that must mean the pre orders are already sold out, shocking as shop only been open an hour 😱

same here - toying with idea of buying the 16gb unlocked black but thinking i may just wait to see white...but that may be a while given even apple aren't selling them yet...so when will o2 even have white available?>

Just checked "my orders" and my order looks like it got through even though the page timed out. No confirmation email yet though!
