My contract with O2 isnt due for renewal until early next year. £440? Looks like my overdraft is about to take another hammering :(

I'm really hoping there will be a sim free version available on UK release day so I can just transfer my o2 payg sim over (once its cut to size )
 
Just got off the phone with o2.
Said this link: http://shop.o2.co.uk/new/iphone/ will go live tonight with all upgrade/pricing info.
Orange also said check the website for more info.

O2 lady said nobody had a clue what was going on at the call centre.

Thats exactly what I want to do. Who dares speculate on the pricing for the PAYGO phones?
 
Stoked we're getting it the same day as the U.S! Will be purchasing the 16gb payg on o2. Hopefully for £450 as the 3gs was.
Can't wait, it looks very impressive.
 
Gutted that i'll be in Glastonbury on the 24th. Will just have to wait until the 29th!:(
 
Please let there be a £440 Black 16GB PAYG version from O2 on preorder day.

Cash in hand and ready to be handed over.

Why the hell are you all calling your networks now? they surely cant be much help and can only confirm anything you could have just heard from the keynote, I bet you will all complain of rubbish info because of inate questions by yourselves.

If you sign up to the updates on O2, you can select the "Buy on launch" option, and they have a form to fill in to send you a proper micro-sim. No DIY for me!

And I think PAYG will be, as O2 are sending out sims, and I am PAYG. (I hope so, anyway!)
 
My Contract ran out a month ago so I'm waiting to see what the contract deals will be.
Registered on the site, hopefully that means if they do send a micro sim out it will be preconfigured with my info.
 
o2's website says 'Fair deal - Existing customers get same deal as new customers'.
I don't want the same deal as new customers, been on iPhone contract for two years, I want a free upgrade.

Brilliant spot!! I wonder if that means all we have to do is sign up for another 18 months and pay for the handset?
