I will agree with you, I hope they release pre-orders tomorrow + the phone prices.
They told me there was no information yet and to check the website. When I told them that only said you may be sent one they agreed that was bad and went through and asked the upgrades team who told them if you signed up online you will be sent one.
Complete shambles really they don't know what they are doing. I know I will be activating mine straight away (and using the included adapter) if it comes even if its before the iPhone, it will be a nightmare getting it activated next Thursday.
have got a 30 day rolling tariff, the guy in retentions said that i would not have a problem with data either as I could theoretically stay on that tariff indefinitely. But I am tempted to switch to a 12 month one to be certain.
I called o2 today and they said they had no idea when or how they would be ordering/sending microsims yet, the rep I spoke to went away several times to ask different people. Best they could offer was try next week. The guy agreed the "maybe" send sim for registering interest was a big maybe as they had not been briefed on it actually happening.
I called my local store, they were clueless, seems can't grow a proper beard guru james has done a runner.
People are selling O2 micro-sims on ebay for £30 when they got them for free from O2. I'm going to attempt to cut up my own sim because I think it will take a while for any of the networks to start sending them out.
Same as the rest of usI too enjoy my iPhone simplicity 30 day rolling contract comprising 600 minutes, 1200 texts and uncapped data, all for a price of £20 inc. VAT per month.
Also, these original simplicity contracts still have mms from allowance.

I bet O2 won't activate them either as they will have been designated as data SIMs for iPads. So its just a waste of £30.
Basically I turned 18 back in March and my contract that I am now on, was in my mums name, and I've just had it transfered over to my name.. I passed the credit check etc, and I've just been informed it will all be finalised on the next billing date, which annoyingly is the 3rd of July!!
My plan was next Thursday ( on the way down to see family, on my own) was to call in Meadowhall and upgrade to the new iPhone on orange in the apple store.
Well obviously I can't do that now as until July 3rd I am still the 3rd Party User. What I want to know is , if I took my driving licence, a bill with my mums name on, a letter from my mum and explained my situation ( and even say they could ring orange as orange did say an orange store could ring..) do you think they would accept that?
My dreams have just been dashed lol

Pre-ordered a 32GB iPhone 4 today.
Just need a £15 (possibly £20) up to 12 months micro-SIM contract including unlimited Data and unlimited Texts. Not bothered about the network much.

If your credit card will bear it, why not just place a brand new order for just the phone? If the new order shows a shipping date of 24th then cancel your original order.
Same here mate, i set up a new 12 month Simplicity to make sure they don't give me a 30 day notice to change the data cap. Apparently can take insurance of £7.50 a month over to new phone too.
Though asked for sim and they said not available just yet, try register intrest and if one doesn't come, phone up next week

The website listing still shows Delivers on: 24th June but my order status page shows:

Do you have accessories in your order? Thats what seems to be pushing most peoples orders into July.
Have you ordered the dock as well? if so it will default the delivery until all items are available? i have had to cancel the dock on my order and re-order on it's own! then the iPhone comes available for delivery on the 24th
What have u ordered? apparently things like the dock and the bumpers delay the shipping...
