Reuters: Apple take 600,000 orders for iphone 4 in one day, largest ever launch.
Crazy. Ten times more than the number of 3GS's they sold on launch, apparently.

I got a free O2 microsim intended for use with an iPad (which i never got in the end). If what I've understood is correct, I can have O2 port my phone number and contract details onto this microsim?

will orange really have white ones at launch???
Urgh this is crazy. Was going to move to orange but i think ill stay with o2.
Im waiting on a new o2 payg simplicity sim coming through. Thinking about just using the £15 unlimted txt/web+100 mins tariff. Does anyone know if they let u keep the £15 or if they take it out? If they let you keep it ill just go for the £10 unlimited text/web tariff. Then on launch day ill cut it up to fit in the iphone 4. Will the unlimited web part of simplicity work on the iphone? And when i put the sim in will i have to top it up again to use in the iphone?
I would say slim to none but you never know, are you able to pop in and see if they can garauntee you one for launch? What's the likely chance of turning up to the store on the day and buying an iPhone with cash and getting one?
