Anyone?
Call Apple up and see if they can sort you out, If they are really 'sold-out' then what can you do...
Anyone?
Was that cashback through QuidCo? Seems an awfully fine offer
I'm hoping to get something decent on another network. O2 has been go so far, but it's a little unreliable out of town.
posted this earlier today but in the midst of everyone posting every 2 seconds lol it got missed.
got a budget of 400 (lookin to get 32gb model)
currently I pay average £30 a month with orange, which broken down is dolphin 25 and £5 500 mb data bundle with unlim txts and about 200 mins (not much of a caller).
Seen Orange's tariffs today and not impressed about the possibility of goin on a 24 month contract, so was lookin at maybe either O2 or voda but dunno who to go with
What happens if you ar eon a night out though and was to loose it or accidently leave it anywhere? Not had to claim yet but for the eqivilent of £90 a year to cover a £599 phone it's good peace of mind. Also if i was to loose it, it covers for upto £3000 worth of phone bill.
I'm not lookin for payg cant afford it, I got 400 part from a redundancy payout part selling my iPhone to O2 for recycling, I tried both sims in the phone and seemed to get decent enough reception from both and 3G.How have you set your budget? Is it for the first month as the Handset is £599 (570 on Orange) up front PAYG.
Go with the best coverage in the area, I feel o2 are adept in my area so I don't want to switch, I keep my 'Unlimited' Data so I'm happy with that.
Yep but still with MobileMe, it shouldn't be too much of a problem.
However I guess it all depends on your situtation, and who would be stupid to take it out when they get hammered or camping?
If your going round a friends, you should be able to trust them, so that shouldn't be a problem.
Like I said its the situation, the weather, the crime rate, where you will be using it, and how safe you keep it.
For me mines pretty safe down in somerset (Y)
Then again, I've never heard of an iPhone specific robbery.
At this rate, I'm just going to plan to camp out an O2 store on Thursday and just stick with my current 3Gs PAYG sim card that will run into the "Text & Web" tariff and then I'll move to another plan next month when all the operators have announced and we have some idea of where the good deals are.
I am somewhat kicking myself for not pre-ordering sooner. What do you all reckon my chances are of getting an iPhone 4 at an O2 retail store on June 24th? Will they have them, or will they all have been reserved by customers?

Orange in my house gives me gprs majority of the time and downstairs I would get no signal (which I think was a device thing cause my c905 works). Had better signal downstairs again with voda an O2

Well If you are going Camping or to a Music Festival, then I would certainly not take it, as the battery isn't good enough as well.
But Students and the 'Younger' Generation tend to go out frequently to clubs and whatnot so it's very easy to lose it when your hammered.
Edit: I take it when the 'thief' takes out your SIM with the Data Package, MobileMe stops working so a Good 'thief' will get away with it no?
correct link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cVY3LXiTBjgThere are plenty. Here is one example captured on CCTV:

Does this mean that if reservations outnumber the stock they get in then no phone will be available for people that just turn up expecting to buy 1??!!

if they pretty much match O2 its most likely gonna come down to a coin toss possiblyWell if your going for Pay Monthly, then your looking at Vodafone and o2 (I've been with o2 for ages and I've never had problems with them, their iPhone Support is based in the UK and never had problems with them, but Vodafone are very good as well - being very good with 3G Coverage too!).
Your looking at a base price of £25 for 24/m and £30/35 for 18/m looking at what the tariffs have shown us so far.
o2 has the Unlimited Texts + Either 100 or 300 Minutes (£30/35 respectively). Wait it out until Vodafone officially release their prices but your probably looking at £200ish for the handset on £30/35 a month on 18 month contract.

Phoned my local Apple Store, Victoria Square, Belfast to see if my reservation had gone through and I would be guaranteed an iPhone 4 on Launch Day.
The guy was able to pull my reservation up but he advised that they did not know how much stock they would be receiving and could not guarantee that all reservations would receive an iPhone on that day but they would receive priority for the stock that they do get in...
Does this mean that if reservations outnumber the stock they get in then no phone will be available for people that just turn up expecting to buy 1??!!
